Garmin 010-02293-10 Instinct Solar, Rugged Outdoor Smartwatch with Solar Charging Capabilities, Built-in Sports Apps and Health Monitoring, Graphite

This was my first-ever smartwatch purchase, and have had it since June 2021. Overall, this watch is excellent in quality, features, and usability. The one thing Ive noticed with the Pulse Ox sensor is that it does not do a very consistent job at getting readings during activities such as hiking. Ive tried using this feature several times during hikes in various positions, temperatures, and times, but it seems to get stuck right around halfway when its reading and wont finish the reading, no matter how still I am. When Ive used this feature at other times (during sleep, rest, sitting, etc.) it does a much better job. If the PulseOx stat is important to you, Id suggest shelling out the extra money to get a higher tier watch from Garmin, like one in the Fenix series. However, if this isnt really that important to you and you might get a spot-reading every now and again while still having all the other features of this watch, then the Instinct is a great choice!

Great Watch

This is my third Garmin watch and I have had nothing but the best luck with all of them! I currently use this watch along with my 4S and switching between watches is as easy as possible. The app automatically syncs with the watch you are wearing every time. I cant wait to use this watch on my next ski trip!

Ive been through all the watches. Timex, Casio etc.....this watch beats them all. Im a former Marine, I do some really dumb things and I get into some pretty rough spots with this watch. It has never failed me once, GPS works great! Buy it, get a screen protector and youre all set!!!!

I was torn about this product. It met most of my expectations but the solar battery, even with bluetooth off, only lasted at most a week. I was expecting nearer to the 30 day amount its advertised to have. Not a huge deal but in addition to being in a season where I dont have a lot of time to actually train and use the cool features, I returned this.

Excellent watch, bought it for my boyfriend & he loves it!!!

I’ve previously used Garmin products so adapted to this one quickly. Really enjoying the extended battery life. Functionality is similar to the 45 but the GPS seems to be more accurate, not that the 45 was bad, the instinct is just better. Solar charging was another option I was interested in. Plenty sunny here in the South so I’ll find out more about that soon.
