I had a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. It was slimmer and my wife thought it looked nicer.

I absolutely love the functionality of this watch. However the battery does not last as long as advertised. I do realize that I am in an office setting Mon-Fri during the week and will not get optimal battery life. Current usage is minimal and I have notifications turned off, HR sensor off, etc.

Overall, this is a great watch. I use it for counting steps and have used the GPS function for a kayaking trip and several hikes. Once you figure out how it functions, its pretty easy to configure the way you want it to be. I prefer this over my Apple Watch; however, I give it three stars because I have one major complaint, it is the temperature function. You can set it to take the temperature from a fixed location or from where ever your phone is. My iPhone takes current temperature from local reporting stations. I like to know the temp in my area so set it to read what the iPhone is reporting. It is never accurate compared to my iPhone. It is slow to update and always either several degrees hotter or colder than the stations the phone uses so I dont trust it. If Garmin would fix this issue, this would be the perfect watch for me.

For what it is its great.

First off, this watch will knock your socks off. So many features its hard to choose just a few that make this WELL worth it. Gps is outstanding. Phone controls, notifications, music control. Vibrates intensely and has ringer. I lost the charger for an entire month and the battery is still on 7 days 30 percent. The battery life itself with the solar makes this watch one of the best! I would highly recommend!
