I like the navigation features.

This is a good coach - more than a computer / speedometer. The documentation is sparse, so be ready to search various topics to understand the info provided by the device.

Upgraded from a 530 edge that I loved but I wanted the bigger screen and ease of a touch screen. Unit works great and is much quicker responding

This unit is a horrible product for a cyclist. For its price, you would expect it to provide clear, easy to read navigation for someone on two wheels. Instead, the nav cursor is so tiny (cant make it any larger) it practically blends in with the route line, which, when looking down at it to get your bearings, you could end up as roadkill or in an mtbrs case, run off the path into a bush or tree. The display screen is a joke. It lacks contrast, hard to distinguish a road from a POI such as a park or water mass since the shadings blend in. The display is very washed out and seems like technology from the early nineties.

If you have used other Edge products you will have no problem setting up and using the 1030 plus.

El GPS 1030 plus tiene mejoras en comparación con su modelo anterior, pero la calidad de el sensor de frecuencia cardiaca es lamentable ya he tenido que comprar varios sensores de frecuencia cardiaca ya que tienen una corta duración, y el servicio de garmin es modesto y muy costoso, en realidad estoy decepcionado de la calidad de los sensores y posiblemente esto comprometa mi futura elección de mi próximo GPS.

The 1030 plus was my first ever bike computer and wow has it exceeded my expectations... I couldnt even begin to list all the handy features and details it will provide. Read the description.... and add 100 features on top of that... lol

The bike computer appears to be a slight revision of one of Garmins hiking computers. Its has a nice screen size, but its heavy for bike computer. The interface is confusing, although it has a lot of functionality. I prefer simple computers to simple, large displays. At high speeds I dont want to have to fiddle with hard to use touch screens. I want to set it and forget it. I returned it.
