Generic AC Power Adapter Charger for Nintendo 3DS/DSi/XL

Son wanted to sell his old Nintendo DS but the charger was broken years ago. So found this and it worked to get it charged. Happy with purchase.

Works on official Nintendo power jacks but if youve replaced the jack with a cheaper version, this charger will not work for it. So make sure youre jack hasnt been messed with if youve got a used one. Other than that, it should work just fine and a good cheap alternative.

I lost my original charger for my 3DS so I decided to purchase a new one. It does its job but as other reviews say, both the console and the charger gets hot while charging. Dropped it down to 4 stars for that reason.

I lost my 3DS charger when we moved into our new house so I decided to look online for new chargers. The official nintendo licensed charger is only a few bucks more than this, but I bought this anyways and it actually got to my house in one day over the weekend which was pretty crazy. Anyways, it works well, it seems a bit flimsy so as long as youre not violently ripping it out of your wall outlet, it should work fine.
