Generic AC Power Adapter Charger for Nintendo 3DS/DSi/XL

Shipping was very short. Product works very well. Shipping was steep. So far so good though. Looks just like original factory charger. I only hope it proves more robust. Time will tell.

Besides the fact that this charger died on me after a month (the seller has offered to send me a replacement), the bigger issue is that since its not OEM charger it will charge the battery of a 3DS BUT dont use it while playing the unit. The uneven trickle of electricity causes the screen to flash at regular intervals while playing it. If you just need an extra travel charger to charge the unit while youre not using it, this will work for you (if it doesnt fail) but if youre looking to replace the OEM charger for your device, this is not the charger for you. Also, the cable is not nearly as long as the OEM cable and it doesnt appear to be as long as the cable pictures in the listing.

My daughter left her charger on the floor where our new lab puppy was able to get it... Well, he was in the chewing phase, and ended up ruining her 3ds charger. So we bought this as a replacement, and it works like the original.

Perfect find perfect fit for what I needed for my daughter could not find extension cord that had it attached to it this was perfect.

My grandson couldnt play his DS or DS HD so Grandma to the rescue...thanks...just what we needed...FYI...always have an extra charger for ALL of your hand held devices...my daughter and grandkids ALWAYS misplace the chargers...makes me look like a superhero!

My daughter lost her 3ds so she wanted to play with her dsi but the battery was dead and of course she lost the charger also. Anyway I ordered this which says it fits 3ds and dsi and I was happy to see that it did. She has the ds lite but that charger is different which boggles my mind why they didnt use the same charger on all of them but I guess they realized it made more since and started doing so.

It works. Feels a little light, like low quality kind of light. The end that plugs into the do 3DS is a little loose, feels like it would come out if I moved the 3DS while charging. The cord is shorter than the one from Nintendo. But over all it does what its supposed to do

Since its so cheap, the quality is obviously not good. Mine has yet to combust like some of the other commenters (though thats not to say it wont happen eventually). My biggest peeve about it is that it doesnt allow you to play your DS while its charging. If you try to play while the charger is plugged into it, the screen will flicker and it will stop charging. In addition, it takes MUCH longer to charge than an average charger. Not really that much of a surprise that its a piece of junk, based on its price, but Id say just bite the bullet and pay an extra fee for a legitimate charger rather than this one (that may or may not end up catching on fire).
