Generic AC Power Adapter Charger for Nintendo 3DS/DSi/XL

i mean it works. what else is there to say

Ordered this for an old DSi that had been stored for years. It does charge but fits a little lose. Just dont move it once you get it charging.

Works perfectly fine just like the charger that comes with the Nintendo 3DS. But I can tell it is slightly lighter than the original charger.

This charger did not work for my 3DS XL. It may have been just a fluke, and I did receive a refund because it didnt work. I suspect this situation is not unusual for this particular charger, however. The charger is extremely light and feels very flimsy. Its made by some generic company. When I brought it in to Gamestop to see if anyone knew why it didnt work, I was told that it was the cheapest looking charger they had ever seen. So basically, its a piece of junk taking up space in my house. I gave it an extra star just in case it actually works for most people.

Cheap piece of junk that doesnt charge! Save your money and time, spend a few extra bucks to get the Nintendo Official one instead!! I ordered this to replace a lost charger for my Nintendo 3DSXL. It doesnt charge anything! I had to order another Nintendo brand charger (only slightly more money, wish Id ordered that in the first place) and when it arrived I immediately noticed that the Nintendo one was weightier than this cheap Generic one, almost like it had more parts inside to make it function. The Nintendo one charged my 3DS just fine, this cheap one did not work in 3 different plugs around the house.

Shorter than original

It works great and charges my Dsi. It does feel a little weak but if you take care of the charger, I am sure it will always work fine.

My grandson was given a Nintendo system by a friend but the power adapter charger was missing. This generic adapter was very cost effective (ie, inexpensive) and works great.

The cable length is extremely short, about 2 feet. I bought this to replace my original cable, which the wire got cut open, but my dad removed about a foot from it and twisted the wires back together, so it still worked. Even with my original cable missing about a foot of wire, it is still longer than this cable. In the picture for this item it appears the the cable length is normal, but its really not. The only reason Im not giving two stars is because the item still works and I can deal with the length. Overall, I would recommend it for the price, but based off the other reviews it seems Im lucky mine still works.
