Generic AC Power Adapter Charger for Nintendo 3DS/DSi/XL

Item was as described and arrived on time. However, the connector that plugs into the DSi is very loose. Now Im not sure if this is because our DSi has a bigger hole or is maybe worn out, but it is significantly looser than the original. It does charge the system, but you must plug it in and set it on a flat surface, making sure that the charge light is on. If you dont take these steps it will not charge.

I gave this product 5 stars for the reasons I am about to explain. Initially, I thought this was a solid 4 star product because the length of the cord is 1. Not easy to find out before purchasing and 2. Not as long as a normal 3DS Charger. My opinion was swayed to 5 stars by two main factors. The first factor is that the price is just perfect. This is something that parents need to buy pretty often if they have kids who use a 3DS, and barring that, the younger audience for the 3DS should also be able to afford this product and they can, with a few days of saved lunch money, or a little allowance. The second factor is that, while I did not officially test this, the product seems to charge the 3DS more quickly that at least my original cable did. When considering everything, I have to say 5 stars on this one. The length of the cable is around 3 feet, 10 inches; it is definitely longer than 12 inches which I saw on one of the answered questions. This product is not compatible with those car-cigarette outlets. Though it is technically travel sized and does not tangle easily. The build quality is obviously cheap, and the aesthetic is as well. Besides all this, there is not much more to add. The product works fine and is shipped promptly, especially for Amazon Prime members. EDIT: After reading some of the negative comments; I left this product to charge my 3DS overnight. It was fully charded before 11pm and I left the cord connected to the system for the entire rest of the night with no issues. I will continue to do so to make sure there arent any issues like the ones I have read. I will post more if anything happens.

I left my charger in my dorm by accident and needed a cheap substitute. This works perfectly! Like other reviewers said, the screen does flicker if it is plugged in while you play. My trick around this is power the device off, then plug it in, and then turn it back on. Once you load your game, the screen should work as normal. Would buy again.

Works just like the one that came with his Nintendo 3ds. We bought it because my son lost his charger . After it came in the mail , we found is original charger . Identical!

It’s honestly just a charger. It works fine and I think it’s perfect for charging my dsi! I charged both of my dsi’s and they charged fully within an hour or so! 10/10

It works great and charges my Dsi. It does feel a little weak but if you take care of the charger, I am sure it will always work fine.
