Generic AC Power Adapter Charger for Nintendo 3DS/DSi/XL

I bought this charger for my sons 3ds after he misplaced his original one. Out of the pack it looks very similar to the one that is included with the 3ds. He plugged it up to charge and after about 20 minutes of it being plugged up he noticed it wasnt charging anymore. So he went to unplug it and quickly jerked his hand back because the charger was so hot! I unplugged it and when I did the charger was so hot that it had literally began to melt while it was plugged in the outlet! Im just thankful that he noticed it wasnt working and it wasnt while he had it plugged up overnight and it could have caught on fire. I know it wasnt very expensive but I would still expect something that I pay money for to do what it is supposed to do without such a major malfunction within the first 20 minutes of use!

It charges my DS well, the biggest problem is that the cord is easy to hurt. I have had to use tape to cover the parts of exposed wire in the cord.

They did an excellent job hiding the fact that the cable is not even 4 feet long. I havent had the product long enough to know if it will last, but this seems to be for charging while away from the system, as playing while charging results in camping uncomfortably close to the outlet. Inconvenient product, cheap cheap price. Good enough

It’s honestly just a charger. It works fine and I think it’s perfect for charging my dsi! I charged both of my dsi’s and they charged fully within an hour or so! 10/10

Plug one end into the wall and the other into your 3DS and then the power flows from one to the other. Dont plug either end into things that are not the wall or a 3DS. You have been warned.

This charger works fine. I dont use it often, but it does work fine, no problems. The only thing I dont like is the short cord. Its much shorter than the one that comes with the 3DS.

There is nothing generic about this charger, because it has the ability to charge your Nintendo 3DS/DSi/XL at a super fast pace without over heating as some other charger brands do. It was shipped very fast and didnt cost a lot of money either. Overall Great Charger!

I expected the cable cord bigger but is not as big as the original DS charger, is about 1 foot and a half long, I still havent tried it out but hopefully it works fine .

Son wanted to sell his old Nintendo DS but the charger was broken years ago. So found this and it worked to get it charged. Happy with purchase.
