> 3 dayNeeds to be a 5GHz not a 2.4GHz. This should be annotated in the description. Voltage shows 5 on description, however, the 2.4GHz isnt shown until the very LAST note after you click on See product details Fortunately we can return things, but its still frustrating as it gets.

> 3 dayThis outlet was really nice while it lasted. I only purchased this earlier in the year, and now its making a high pitch whirring sound and making it hard to sleep. I can no longer use it because now Im worried about it causing a fire.

> 3 dayGot this intending to use it with a bunch of devices but the location didnt work with a power strip. You can control each of the 6 outlets with the app, so place is strategically where it makes sense. For my purposes, this ended up being too many outlets on one location. I should have gotten one with 4 or fewer outlets. Practically speaking, its hard to plug in 6 things you would want to control with Alexa, in to this 1 adapter. That said, it does work, just dont fully utilize it.

> 3 dayApparently you would not be able to use the smart feature if you’re WiFi is on 5 ghz frequency. So, please check that you WiFi frequency can be changed before purchasing. I tried but was unable to switch my Xfinity router.

> 3 dayI tried *so many times* to set this thing up and nothing worked. Checked my wifi (2.4GHz), got it to flash quickly as instructed, etc., etc... Nothing worked. Kept bugging out. Told me the app version was out of date when I had *just* downloaded their available app. Never was able to connect. Absolutely terrible.

> 3 dayIt would appear that the manufacture updated the description after I purchased the device and after someone posted their first review, negatively reflecting my next point. The original description didnt mention that all of the USB ports are controlled together by one button. I still look forward to using this product, and it appears well built and functional. If it performs well over time I will up the stars.

> 3 dayI originally bought this for timing some plant grow lights, but the more it asked me to set up, the less I trusted it. The box and webpage said it worked with Alexa; thats not entirely true. It DOES work with Alexa, if you download a shady proprietary Chinese-made app with bad translations. Not only that, but the app REQUIRES that you enable wifi, precise location, and bluetooth before giving it your wifi password WITH location data. I did some digging on reddit, and apparently Gosund products have a habit of racking up 600 megabyte/month data usage, which is a clear indicator that these devices are doing something more than just binary on/off switches for the plugs. Im instead going with TP-Link smart strips, because I dont particularly want my home to be filled with Chinese spyware.

> 3 dayOut of the blue it stopped connecting to the wifi. I’ve reset my modem and router. I reset the device several times and nothing. It has power just cannot get the device to show in the device so I’m back to unplugging and plugging devices again.
