Giro Fixture MIPS Adult Mountain Cycling Helmet

I got hit by a car then took a header on the pavement. If it wasnt for this helmet I wouldnt be standing. Minor concussion but much better than it could have been. Be smart and buy a good helmet like this one.

Good comfortable helmet, with all the appropriate safety ratings in a lightweight package. Easily adjusted, unlike my previous Wal-Mart helmet that I had to play tug of war with. And it makes an excellent stand-in kickstand for taking photos on trails.

My head is just too large for normal Large helmets, and this one works well as a larger size. Note that isnt incredibly-larger if youre in a similar place, and also occasionally wear something under your helmet on your head. (i.e. I cant really fit anything over my head for winter or cold-weather riding)

Quality product. The helmet fit perfect. The adjustable knob in the back was smaller than my previous model, but it seems just as sturdy. I would buy this helmet again.

I tried the helmet on and it is very comfortable. It feels as if Im not wearing a helmet and it is very light weight. I like the way that it adjusts to the circumference of your head. The chin strap is comfortable and it has not bothered me at all. Great product.

My head measured right at the upper limits for the “large” size. After trying on several Large helmets locally, i rolled the dice with this XL Giro helmet… absolute perfection. It fits like a glove and easily snugs down with the MIPs knob. If you’re on the high end of the size L, get the XL. It’s WAY more comfortable.

I will sometimes take the bus to work, and then ride the bike home. Great for the commute.

It is not shown in the photos but the company places an ugly yellow round MIPS sticker at the back of the helmet which cannot be removed. Worst part, it flakes off and leaves the surface under of the sticker a different color if you bought a matte color. We aren’t paid to advertise for your company GIRO.
