Greater than one weekI have been a Giro user for a very long time. I keep coming back because of the quality of the product. I bought this helmet because it was of the Hi Viz color. Believe me, drivers can see this helmet a long way off. I added a couple of reflective strips for added safety at night. Additionally, it was a very good price.

> 3 dayEasily the most comfortable helmet Ive owned. Had it for a year. Took a silly slam yesterday and hit my head on the dirt. Helmet did a good job. Didnt move on me or anything. I basically never have to adjust it. Mips for $55 Great looking too.

> 3 dayReally nice helmet, looks good, lightweight. About the color, I dont know why reviewers are saying this helmet is white, I placed a white tissue on top and the helmet looks light gray, this is exactly the color I wanted and expected.

Greater than one weekThis is a good helmet for people with larger heads. I wear a 7.5 hat and have a tall head. Most helmets dont fit me properly. They tend too sit high on my head with too much forehead showing. This helmet seems to have a deeper fit. Great helmet for the price. Not the most comfortable, but plenty good enough for the price.

> 3 dayWhen wearing this helmet it feels lightweight like it not there. It looks very good while riding. The sun blocker helps a lot. I havent had a single problem with this helmet it is an overall great helmet.

> 3 dayFits my head great, sits on it properly at the right angle. The chin strap is a little tight when I look down, but it’s not really an issue; also, you want a chin strap to not come off so I’m good with that. Adjustable headband is great, the steps are good to adjust to being snug but comfortable. Not a super nerdy-looking helmet and has a good visor, both pluses.

> 3 dayPut it on to check for fitment, and ended up washing my car before hitting the trail. I didn’t realize i was still wearing it until I went to sit down in the driver seat. Very comfortable and lightweight. Protective qualities haven’t been tested yet.

> 3 dayBecause of my big head, I was afraid of a too tight fit and would have to return it. I measured my head several times and I thought I was right at the edge of a good fit. However, to my pleasant surprise, right out of the box the fit was a little loose. Tightened the adjustment knob a couple of notches, adjusted the strap, and I was good to go. As far as the visor - the verdict is still out on that. Fortunately, if the visor annoys, it’s easy to remove, and also easy to snap back on if needed. This helmet is an excellent buy. It’s configured with MIPS, great color, and offered by a leading company in bike helmets. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayI was looking for a no-frills MIPS mountain biking helmet. I read a lot of reviews, and I found myself comparing the Fixture and the Chronicle and the Source. It was really difficult to find the Chronicle, which received excellent reviews for the mix of features and value. I decided to buy the Fixture based on price, so that I could try it out, and if I liked it I would eventually buy one of the higher end Giro helmets similar to this. I am really pleased with this purchase. The Giro Fixture is affordable, very light, and adjustable. My main concern had been that the shell size is universal, and I preferred to have a helmet closer to my head size, but it has turned out to be a non-issue so far.

> 3 dayThe most uncomfortable thing about this helmet is I would like it to be further forward on my forehead pointing towards the ground. The straps that go around the ears make this very hard to do due to no adjustability. The sun visor does not come down as low as my previous helmet did and does not provide as much protection from the sun.
