Giro Fixture MIPS Adult Mountain Cycling Helmet

Very comfortable helmet and adjusts to fit very well. The visor is a little high but not being adjustable I’d rather that than blocking my view. Like all the reviews said, the matte gray is a good deal lighter than in the posting but I was counting on that to match my bike color well. I think the added protection of the MIPS system is definitely worth the $10 over the standard Giro Fixture helmet. I would give it 5 stars if the color was better represented.

The helmet with MIPS itself is acceptable but the straps and the buckle are both so flimsy. The worst or the design is the strap does not stay under your chin but across your throat. Its more dangerous than protect.

Just replaced my lost Mountaro II, order it because it had overnight delivery, and I needed helmet fast, for a les than half price this helmet fits me better and feels lighter, it doesnt have GoPro attachment, or visor adjustment, but who cares. Great helmet

My family has recently gotten into bike riding. Part of that is protection for your head. My son wanted to graduate from his Thomas the Tank Engine helmet so we wanted something that looked good, protected well, and matched his bike color. This helmet has checked all three boxes. He says its lighter on his head than his previous helmet, now granted, theres no smoke stack on this one... Hes 13 and completely average in build. Fits him well. I will say this. We bought the gray one and its just a shade lighter than it looks in the picture. Still, a good helmet for the money.

Fantastic for my big head boys.

I have a very big head and most helmets dont fit... even when they do, they usually look like a I have a mushroom-head. This one fits cleanly, and also looks attractive by having a long profile. (My mother says I should wear it all the time!) The gray is very light almost closer to being white which I like for reflecting the sun. Chin-strap is very adjustable and works around my big face as well. Definitely recommended.

Decent helmet for the price. The visor is not adjustable, but it is reasonable comfortable. I ended up removing the visor almost immediately.

My head is just too large for normal Large helmets, and this one works well as a larger size. Note that isnt incredibly-larger if youre in a similar place, and also occasionally wear something under your helmet on your head. (i.e. I cant really fit anything over my head for winter or cold-weather riding)

From a guy with a giant head who has had difficulty all of his life through baseball and other areas where a helmet is needed, thank freaking God this helmet exists! I am so ecstatic right now about it, this has made my day.
