Giro Fixture MIPS Adult Mountain Cycling Helmet

I have never been comfortable in a bike helmet. I discovered this helmet renting mountain bikes in Canada this summer. So roomy and well padded for comfort. I have a very large head and past helmets (including other Giros) were just not comfortable. This one has room to spare and is shaped just right for me. I just got my helmet in and am so excited to use it!

Good looking MTB helmet with MIPS technology, fits comfortably, a lot of protection for the back of your head.

Fitment seems to be ok, I like a softer nylon chin strap than this has, plastic where it was stamped out of die has rough edges, needs edges filed down

Fits great and is light weight. Not much else to add until I crash and really give it a test. Will update if anything awesome or not so awesome happens.

Easily adjusted for size. Loved the features and color.

I like the light weight and good fit.

My hat size is 7 5/8 and this XL helmet fits and with more room to spare. I picked the black color to help make it appear smaller.

Helmet fits nicely and secures against the back lower portion of the head with a rotary style knob. Chin strap is thin and not bulky. Overall the helmet is nice and lightweight and doesn’t flop around at all when riding on dirt trails.

Helmet is well built and probably the least expensive, good MIPS helmet out there. My only suggestion would be to slightly increase the padding. It is a hard fit - not awful but takes getting used to. My old Specialized helmet is much more comfortable.
