I would rather use the ACE wood filler, its cheaper spreads much better and is less dry.

I used this to repair a wooden door damaged by a dog. (The joys of being a landlord.). I applied it first with a metal putty knife and found that I was happier with applying with a plastic spatula. This material dries quite quickly, which was a nice benefit. It sanded well. Applying primer and paint were no problem. I would buy it again!

Awesome product. Fixed and entire trim panel that my dog mangled and you can’t tell. Easy to work with, and still have a lot left over. 10/10

This wood filler did the job...I will be buying more.

Got what I expected

Our back door had a very bad spot because of the rain. Part of the wood had rotted out. It was as easy to use as one would expect, other than the product forming on the door all on its own. This stuff was a great filler and the door is restored.

This wood filler is Gorilla (which equates great to me)! Love that it matches most of my wood, dries quickly, easy to sand. Super happy with this filler.

i found this is a tad too thick and being too thick it had a problem spreading and adhering to a surface which was wood. i usually have good luck with gorilla products. maybe i got a tub that was sitting in inventory for a while? dont know. i dont have the time or luxury to be returning things so, what i had to do with this was put a wad of this in a small dish or cup and added a few drops of water and it made quite the difference. if you attempt to try this, when i say drops, i mean drops. and mix it well - really well. yea, it will take a little longer to harden.
