> 3 dayI used this tape to patch 3 roof pipe boots whose rubber gaskets were dry rotting. Amazing tack, stretch and adhesion. TIPS: 1. DONT use latex gloves. The adhesive is so tacky, it will pull off the glove fingertips. 2. Try to score through just the tape, not the backing. I found it easier to remove the tape with the backing remaining on the roll. 3. I made the repairs in 91° direct sun. While it provided instant adhesion, it was almost to tacky to work with.

> 3 dayIts not easy to use, but I learned after struggling with it the first time that wearing plastic gloves and using the tip of a scissors to scrape the backing so it could be easily removed made working with it easier. The glue on the back is strong and instantly adhesive so if the cut strip accidentally touches something it shouldnt removing it can be difficult but using shorter strips reduces the likelihood of that happening. I used it on two projects. The first was to repair a large hole in the backwash pipe from my pool filter. So far after several weeks there are still no signs of leakage whereas previously a small fountain of water had been spurting ito the air. The other repair was to a solar pool cover whose seams had come apart. The cover was on the pool, the seams were wet, but the tape held the failed sections together. Only relatively small pieces of tape (about a foot long) at each end of the cover were needed .

> 3 dayI used this to add to the top of my formal pond liner, that had shrunken down about 2 over the last 6 years. The liner is regular pond liner, and is somewhat stiff/crispy, but its in a concrete block pond, so I think I can get a few more years out of it. I really only needed 2 at the top, but decided to use the entire 4 width of the tape. I cut each side to the size I needed + 2. I then rolled it up, peeled back the protective sheet as I went, about 4 at a time. These were 5.2 long strips, which was somewhat intimidating when you know you cannot reposition. And you cant. Once its on, its on. I cleaned the liner first, removing any algae, and then cleaning off again with alcohol before I put the tape on. If you figure out how to unroll and remove backing at the same time, as I did, this was an easy job. The tape is holding very well, and I cannot imagine the reviewers who say the backing was dry. No way. They must not have removed the backing. The edge of the tape has a visible line of adhesive, but its under the waterline so I dont care. Anyway, time will tell if it last. But it will probably outlive the liner. Good job, Gorilla.

> 3 dayThis material is about the thickness of three Gorilla Tape pieces stuck back to back. The adhesive is much stronger. Make sure you get it where you want it, because you will have trouble getting it off. Good for repairing tarps, grill covers, etc. I used it to patch some vapor barrier under my house. I wanted something that wouldn’t curl up on the edges. I got it.
