> 3 dayThis would not stick to a plastic pond waterfall. It easily peeled off. Not a good product. Instead I used Flex Seal tape and it worked perfectly. Stuck immediately, is still on after days of water running over it and of course is very difficult to remove. I recommend using Flex Seal tape instead.

> 3 dayI had a 1.5 - 3 hole in the main stage where the fast rubber blade grabs the snow and throws it out the chute. The hole let snow be thrown into the engine. IT LASTED THROUGH A HEAVY SPRING WET SNOW: NO EDGE LIFT! I used 300 grit sandpaper on the plastic, washed/rubbed the area with rubbing alcohol. Heated the plastic (not hot) with a heat gun Applied a piece of the tape, heated, pressed, heated, pressed about 3 times. Never getting it too hot. After a day of curing (24 hours) I brought the blower to the cold garage

Greater than one weekThis product has major adhesive properties! I caught my $300 down sleeping bag on fire (long story). Lol. Anyway, I had a 8×5 inch burn hole. I was able to easily repair this hole.

> 3 dayI used it to repair a pool cover that had frayed in the weather. Its EXTREMELY sticky, and adhered very well. Not sure Ill ever get it off (if I wanted to!).

Greater than one weekThis tape is insanely sticky!! I have a mid 90s truck with some rust in extremely common areas. The truck is primarily used to transport stuff to the dump or when blizzards hit, so I have little desire to do a lot of rust mitigation. But, if I can limit the rate of rust, Im all for it. After cleaning the areas I was applying tape to, I then took a propane torch and heated the metal a bit. I then took off measures pieces of the tape and stuck them on the clean warm metal. I then gave them a quick blast to really heat the adhesive up before pressing it onto the permanent position. The tape will not move. It is absolutely sealed around the edges and I have no doubt it will provide some protection to my old truck. If you are having problems sticking this tape, I would stand back and really try to evaluate why. Have you removed the liner that keeps it from sticking to itself on the roll? Is the part it question freezing cold or dirty? The reviews here stating that the tape just falls off are almost unbelievable honestly. This stuff is incredible.

Greater than one weekI used this to add to the top of my formal pond liner, that had shrunken down about 2 over the last 6 years. The liner is regular pond liner, and is somewhat stiff/crispy, but its in a concrete block pond, so I think I can get a few more years out of it. I really only needed 2 at the top, but decided to use the entire 4 width of the tape. I cut each side to the size I needed + 2. I then rolled it up, peeled back the protective sheet as I went, about 4 at a time. These were 5.2 long strips, which was somewhat intimidating when you know you cannot reposition. And you cant. Once its on, its on. I cleaned the liner first, removing any algae, and then cleaning off again with alcohol before I put the tape on. If you figure out how to unroll and remove backing at the same time, as I did, this was an easy job. The tape is holding very well, and I cannot imagine the reviewers who say the backing was dry. No way. They must not have removed the backing. The edge of the tape has a visible line of adhesive, but its under the waterline so I dont care. Anyway, time will tell if it last. But it will probably outlive the liner. Good job, Gorilla.

> 3 dayMy kids were talking to the cat who then jumped up (and poked a hole) in our brand new Coleman hot tub. In the morning the tub was significantly deflated so I used A dab of E6000 glue to patch the spot and let it dry for the full cure time. I then applied the patch included with the tub by the manufacturer. Since it was a small circular patch and I wanted to cover a larger area around the hole, I also ordered a roll of this Gorilla Glue patch tape. I don’t know if the tape played a significant role, but it’s been a few months now and the tub still has not leaked air. However, with the steam coming from the 104 degree water and the hot sun beating down on the tub all day, it has slid out of place a bit. There’s a sticky layer that has formed, which comes off quick and easy with a small amount of acetone on a paper towel. Although I’m not a big fan of the mess I gave this product 4 stars for staying in place under these conditions. The peeling edge that you see is due to the boyfriend pushing the tackiness back up towards the tape and wouldnt have occurred without his assistance. I read all of the reviews before purchasing this product and am adding mine here so you can see how this tape holds up in 90+ degree weather with moisture. It’s still there, but it will shift when applied to a curved surface subject to gravity and repeated placing and removing of the insulated tub cover.
