I used this for a leaking pipe I rapped it up and it hasn’t leaked

We had bad hail the other day and it busted our pool. It looked like it was a small hole that just kept ripping. I think the rip was around 10 inches. Used the little flex tape I had but it did not like the water dripping on the outside. So I got this one and man is it stick and works well. We got the small leaked covered that the flex tape had and then was able to use it inside the pool to reinforce the outside tape. My husband had no problem using it in the water. Of course I probably went overboard covering it in the outside. It is still holding up and will update it if lasts the summer.

I’ll assume this happened in production, but if I needed a longer piece; it would need come a problem.

I used it to repair my windshield on my truck was getting water in truck work really well at keeping water out and its strong just make sure you have everything lined up when you stick it on trying to reuline is not an option

Its not easy to use, but I learned after struggling with it the first time that wearing plastic gloves and using the tip of a scissors to scrape the backing so it could be easily removed made working with it easier. The glue on the back is strong and instantly adhesive so if the cut strip accidentally touches something it shouldnt removing it can be difficult but using shorter strips reduces the likelihood of that happening. I used it on two projects. The first was to repair a large hole in the backwash pipe from my pool filter. So far after several weeks there are still no signs of leakage whereas previously a small fountain of water had been spurting ito the air. The other repair was to a solar pool cover whose seams had come apart. The cover was on the pool, the seams were wet, but the tape held the failed sections together. Only relatively small pieces of tape (about a foot long) at each end of the cover were needed .

If you apply it to a DRY surface, then it gets wet, it will hold. You cannot apply it to a surface that is already wet / underwater. It will absolutely not stick.

Heavy duty, waterproof, long lasting. Works great outdoors.

I needed to patch an above ground pool solar cover with tape on top and bottom of cover. Both sides would be wet. Previous brand failed miserably. The product went on very easily and have remined in place. Great job. Very reasonable priced and delivered by Amazon in one day.
