> 24 hourIts still magnetized, but day before yesterdy (and its less than a week old), it got knocked off the ironing board, and when I picked it up, it had a big chunk broken not-quite-out of the rim of the plastic housing. Now, I realize that the magnet still mags -- not a single pin dropped off when it fell -- or if they did, they fell into space as it hit the floor, and immediately bounced back up onto the upside-down surface of the blue plastice. I also realize that not all plastics are made equal and some may cost a bit more to house the magnet in than others, but could Blue Feather not have specified to the factory to use one that was not expected to break when it hit linoleum over concrete when dropped from the height of an ironing board? After all, many of us have playful cats. Playful kids. Some of us even have periodic playful earthquakes (we know who we are.) Things do fall off ironing boards. This is within the Prime period for sending it back, but Im not sure its ethical to ask to send it back, damaged, so Im keeping it. As I say -- the magnet still mags. But I implore you, Blue Feather -- have a talk with your manufacturer and see if you can come up with a more durable plastic. If I find out you have, Ill buy the improved model. And write a new review.

> 24 hourI have a lot of different pin cushions and holders, depending on what type of project I’m working on. I got this magnetic one to use by my sewing machine, so when I’m concentrating on my stitching I don’t even have to look over because this one “grabs” the pins. It helps keep my workspace tidy! It’s heavy enough to double as a pattern weight on my cutting table as well. The magnet is strong enough to hold the pins, but not so much you’re fighting to get them off. Great tool!

> 24 hourWanted to try this magnetic pin cushion & was pleasantly surprised.have arthritis in my fingers but grabbing pins from this is easier than a regular pin cushion. Would buy again and recommend it for those who sew.

> 24 hourI own several. Works great, easy to grab pins. Not sure why they include the big pins. (Maybe it looks better in a picture)

> 24 hourI purchased one of these for myself and one for my Mom. They hold all sizes of pins - quilting and sewing. If you happen to drop some pins on the floor while sewing you just flip it upside down and it picks up the pins on the floor. I would definitely recommend.

> 24 hourI love these Grabbit Magnetic Pincushions. I have two and have given several for gifts. They are very functional for anyone who sews and drops pins as well as anyone who needs to organize any kind of straight or safety pins. They really hold on to them well and help with picking up dropped ones easily and quickly. The colors are also very nice and cheery. They are keepers. The only draw back is the straight pins that come with it are very weak and easily bend.

> 24 hoursuper powerful!! Holds all my pins and even comes with some as well! I just keep it next to my sewing machine so that when I pull a pin on the fabric I just drop it on the magnet and it sticks securely into place!

> 24 hourSo much easier to use than a pin cushion! Its heavy enough to sit sturdily on my ironing board. Strong magnet holds the pins but will also grab your scissors if you get too close! I place the cushion close to the sewing machine so while sewing I can pull a pin from the seam, get it close to the cushion and BAM the magnet grabs the pin and I am on to the next one. A sweep of the cushion on the floor also makes quick work of picking up fallen pins. Note, though, the included pins are a good length and sharp but are flimsy and bend easily.

> 24 hourI like this magnetic holder, however I bought additional pins and they do not work with the magnet. My old pins do though so that is confusing to me. It says there is a cover, but it is pretty weak.
