Greater than one weekThe magnetic base makes it a lot easier to corral the pins & reduces the chance of pins falling on the floor.

> 3 dayIve been sewing for 60 years and never knew how much I needed this! This has a strong magnet and it is so much easier to drop pins on it than to stop and stick them into a pin cushion or just leave them on the table where they risk falling on the floor. Such a little thing but so convenient, love the green color too. Seems sturdy and well made. Love the large pins that come with it too.

Greater than one weekI wish I had bought one (or more) of these years ago. It really speeds up my sewing when I don’t have to put pins back in the pin cushion, just get them near this magnetic dish as they stay. Makes pins easy to grab also. Just be careful not to get other metal objects near it. I accidentally got my fabric shears too close and was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to pull them away, the magnolia pretty strong.

> 3 dayI love this thing. Why didnt I buy one years ago? Probably because I dont do a lot of sewing. But every time I do, keeping track of the pins is always a problem. And I live in fear of dropping them on the carpet and being unable to find them. This makes it so easy to grab pins when you need them and toss them back when you dont. The wide flat area is great because you dont even have to be really accurate when you drop the pins onto it. This definitely qualifies as one of those gosh I wish I had thought of this idea years ago items.

> 3 dayI bought this as a gift for my mom. I have organized her pins by color since I was a kid, so I took the liberty of doing so again! This is a pretty strong magnet, so be careful about keeping it near electronics. Its not heavy at all. My Kindle Fire HD is heavier. Nice color and finish. Doesnt look cheap at all and holds pins well. Forces them to center. I dropped one while organizing the pins and it scooped them right up!

> 3 dayRecently, I have had a bad case of either the knock overs or the dropsies. This has saved my sanity. I have one of those telescoping wands with the magnet and the light at the end of it. It doesnt compare. I like it much better when I dont have to pick up my spilled sewing pins. I knocked this off my sewing machine cabinet, and went to pick up the pins. None of them spilled! None! Zip! 0!Nada! Im such a happy camper. And, something worked just as its supposed to! Thank you Grabbit and Amazon.

> 3 dayWanted to try this magnetic pin cushion & was pleasantly surprised.have arthritis in my fingers but grabbing pins from this is easier than a regular pin cushion. Would buy again and recommend it for those who sew.

> 3 dayI used the same magnetic pincushion since the 80s, that is until I knocked it off the table one too many times and broke it. I replaced it with two Grabbits, black and teal, so I could have one at my sewing machine and the other by my coverstitch. These are every bit as nice and heavy as my vintage one. Toss the pins to the Grabbit as you sew and they go right in, all lined up the same direction as they should. To prevent knocking them off my tables I bought two textured jar openers (from Amazon) to put underneath to keep them from sliding. Works great!

Greater than one weekI bought this magnetic pin holder because I have dogs that are always sitting at my feet while I sew and I didnt want them to get a dropped pin by mistake. It came quickly and well packaged. It certainly is heavier than I expected and the magnet is strong. I love the peace of mind knowing my pins are all accounted for. As a plus, the pins it comes with are actually pretty good too.
