> 3 dayI purchased one of these for myself and one for my Mom. They hold all sizes of pins - quilting and sewing. If you happen to drop some pins on the floor while sewing you just flip it upside down and it picks up the pins on the floor. I would definitely recommend.

Greater than one weekI love the ability to quickly pitch the pin to the magnet as Im removing them from the material as Im sewing. I dont have to try and stick the pin an actual cushion, slowing me down on a project or hope they dont roll off the table because Im too lazy to bother placing them in one while sewing. Its really convenient. If you are organized, you can place them in the same direction and minimize poking yourself while retrieving one. If you dont ever want to risk poking yourself from retrieving a pin from the pin cushion, then maybe this isnt for you. But really, if you are sewing and never get poked, youre from another world. Would definitely buy again.

> 3 dayIve purchased 3 of these now, as I have separate rooms for fabric cutting and sewing and was finding that one always made it to the wrong room, lol. The 3rd was mostly to get more good pins & because theyre fun colors. Definitely recommend. Just be careful around your other tools - the magnet is strong & itll grab anything steel!

> 3 dayPurple Grabbit magnetic pincushion has a very strong magnet and keeps the pins in place. This is my favorite brand for a quality item. I loved the purple & gifted this to a granddaughter that Im teaching how to sew.

> 3 dayI used the same magnetic pincushion since the 80s, that is until I knocked it off the table one too many times and broke it. I replaced it with two Grabbits, black and teal, so I could have one at my sewing machine and the other by my coverstitch. These are every bit as nice and heavy as my vintage one. Toss the pins to the Grabbit as you sew and they go right in, all lined up the same direction as they should. To prevent knocking them off my tables I bought two textured jar openers (from Amazon) to put underneath to keep them from sliding. Works great!

23-11-2024I have this constantly by my side when sewing or cutting out fabric. This is the handiest item to have so pins dont spill or land where theyre not supposed to. I need to get another to have one at both my sewing machine and at my cutting table. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI dont sew a lot, but when I do, I am always losing pins and have this bulky pincushion because its easier to stick. I cant believe I never got one of these! Everyone talks about how great it is for dropping pins and even picking them up off the floor with a wave of the cushion, but what I loved best is how FLAT it is. It FITS in my sewing basket, where my old, much larger pincushion did not, and I was always misplacing it. Thats awesome!!
