> 3 dayMy kids like playing this together with us. I am the one needing the help with reminders of the rules. There is a rule reminder card that also helps.

> 3 dayIts my families favorite game. We all play from the kids (youngest age 9) to grandma. If you know how to play Spades you will pick up this one really easily. You play in 10 rounds. Adding a care per round. First round 1 card the last round 10. Each round you state how many hands you think you can win. If you are correct you get all the points for that round (which is 10 x the round number). If you are one of what you stated you can get then you only get 50%. If you are two off then you get 0. You will have people trying to lose hands because they only bid 1 or purposely letting you win to make sure you get 0 for the round. It can be a little take that but still fun. The rounds go quick.

> 3 dayThis is by far my favorite bidding trick-taking game. The pirate theme gives it flavor that more traditional games lack and the elements of chance help to keep the game from being a stale game of statistics.

> 3 dayWe really enjoy this game, because it puts a twist on other games we really enjoy: Hearts and Fruit Basket (not sure if Fruit Basket is the name it is commonly known by). We introduced this game to other family members and we all had a great time playing.

> 3 dayWe gave this game to our kids for Christmas along with a few other games. This game was picked to learn first and has been played at least once every day since. At first it felt a little complicated but actually the premise of the game isn’t complicated or hard to learn at all, there are just a lot of cards to remember who does what. It didn’t take long to learn, we just started into it and by the end of the first round everyone felt solid in their understanding. We will definitely be gifting this to friends/family this year!

> 3 dayI love this game. It’s a little confusing at first, there’s quite a few rules to figure out, but it makes more sense as you get playing. After 2 or 3 rounds it clicks. My 10 year old cousins were able to learn with minimal problems (although they didn’t understand the whole bidding accurately and didn’t strategize tricks very well, it was slightly more fun with a group of teen/adults who could strategize). Overall it’s a great game! My brother accurately describes it as ‘hearts on steroids!’. 5 stars for sure! Grandpa Beck games are quickly becoming my favorite! Excellent additions to my game collection. We aren’t quite ready to try the expansion pack, but it looks fun too!

> 3 dayWe received the game on time and plan on playing at an upcoming family gathering. We played it once before at a friends house and enjoyed the game so much we wanted one of our own.
