This is a newer version with a couple additions compared to the original. Not too different, only a couple new cards with new abilities. Very fun as always! Just gifted this to my sister.

Bought this because we Love Cover Your Assets, so we thought wed try some other games by Grandpa Beck, but this was such a waste of money. Its just a really expensive version of Rook... Dont waste your money. Just by Rook for $5 instead.

This has been a family favorite. Its easy to learn and loads of fun.

My family is obsessed with this fun game. Very easy to learn, young grandkids, 9 and older, play along with the adults and do well.

Your family and card playing friends will love Skull King, the pirate themed game from Grandpa Becks games. If you love to throw theme parties, you should really have a pirate night and let this game be the entertainment. Adults and kids (old enough to understand bidding and trumps) will be raising a pirate ruckus after a hand or two. The cards are large, and have wonderful pirate characters including the pirate king himself. Playing cards with your kids is a perfect way to pry them away from the television or video games. Family conversations have been had over a good hand of cards at a bridge table through the years, but Skull King is way more fun. Throw the perfect pirate party with pirate themed foods, mugs of pirate ginger ale and a chest of pirate booty from which winners can draw a prize.. Lay down a short board and have the losers walk the plank (to test their balance), Grandpa Becks card game is just a springboard to the fun that is awaiting for your family and friends. love this game so much. we have several Grandpa Beck games. We’ve had questions during game play twice and have called grandpa beck and he answered both times. such a fun guy!!! after our call tonight we just ordered two more that he said were some of his faves. we actually have two copies of this game now because we love it so much and the first copy got worn out. can’t wait to get the new ones we just ordered!!! thank you, Grandpa Beck! ❤️

Super fun! Always different! Love this family game!!!

A friend introduced this game to us and we immediately bought it for our family. Its so much fun, and our kids enjoy playing too. Easy to learn, but not boring and lame after you do (i.e. chutes and ladders with kids kills me) and as an added bonus its just cards. No worries about losing tiny game pieces (Monopoly or Risk). We took it camping and even played with one more person and only went up to nine rounds instead of ten. You can play the original version or add in cards from the expansion pack to add more mischief to the fun. All already included in the box. Perfect for traveling and packing light. Hands down one of my favorite new games! Keep it up Grandpa Beck and thanks.
