> 3 dayPurchased to connect my mobile and backpack rigs to an Astron PSU. Excellent stranded copper wire, holds shape well with good insulation and binding between +/-. Definitely worth it. Having a 12v project, this is the wire you want to use, especially if its for anything automotive like radios or amps.

> 3 dayIn my photo, Audiopipe is on the left and GS Power is on the right. Un-stripped they are about the same size. Stripped with the same tool you can see the considerable difference in how much wire there is. The Audiopipe insulation is really thick, and if thats what matters (not how much current it can handle) then that is the wire for you. What many sellers DONT say is that they are selling CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum), rather than pure copper wire. Its hard to see in the photo, but each strand of the Audiopipe wire really is a different color on the inside. You can solder it due to the copper coating, but its not copper and that means it will expand more when heated so Id avoid clamp connections. The bottom line is that if you really need 12 AWG and you dont want aluminum wire you should pay the extra price for GS Power. They are honest about what they sell.

> 3 dayUsed it to install lights on my Ford ranger and this came in handy. Very well insulated wire. Would recommend for any light installation.

> 3 dayThis wire is very flexible with 67 strands (I did not count them), and the wire accepts solder very easily. The insulation starts to melt just a little at 350 Deg C, and shrinks down the wire (thats why only 4 stars) but after it cools it is fine. The wire specification is 12 AWG, 99.9% OFC, but I measured it at 0.102 which is 10 AWG. The important thing for me is that it is copper, and I need it to carry 12 A for a short distance and it will work fine for my application.

> 3 dayGood stuff. Arrived in good shape, but somebody needs to learn how to package it. Five inch diameter roll in a 6X6X14 inch box with no padding leaves a lot of room to roll around.

> 3 dayUsed this wire to modify a light bar harness. Stripped well, copper was clean under the insulation. Stiffer than I needed but still manuverable.

> 3 dayUsed this wire to extend the reach of a 12v air compressor. It is much heavier gauge wire than what the compressor uses do I should have no issues with current draw.
