I use this wire for building battery packs and power supplies. It is high quality and decently priced. The only drawback is when I am soldering with high heat the pvc jacket will melt easier than other wire I have used. This doesnt matter to me because I always use shrink tubing after soldering the wires. Without shrink tubing, the results may be a little less than professional looking.

Soft and flexible enough for automotive use and splits easily as needed.

This is good quality wire. Insulation is thick, wire is fairly flexible and easy to route through holes etc. The conductors are high quality. The wire is not what I expected so I gave it 4 stars. I know, not fair since its my expectation that made me take one star off. The insulation on the wire is some sort of double layer. The black and red material is coated on the outside with a clear insulation. Im not sure of the purpose of this dual layer but it still works. Warning, something I learned the hard way. I had to solder this wire onto a connector and the insulation melted easily. When you are soldering 12 gauge wire you have to apply a fair amount of heat to get the solder flowing and the insulation started to sag right off the wire. I tried it again at a lower temperature (on the soldering iron) and was able to complete the solder connection without losing the insulation off of it. If you are using only crimp connections (which the rest of mine were) then this is great stuff.

I used this wire for solar-powered lights in the garage and is working fine!

Weve used this wire for all our electrical system for the last two seasons. Its great and well buy more when we run out. It is nicely flexible and the insulation is pretty tough. We love that black and red wires are connected together. It makes snaking the wire around the robot much easier.

Arrived today instead of next Wednesday. Good job to shipper and shipping company. Looking forward to my radio projects.

This is the wire youre looking for. Strands are heavy duty yet bend well and hold their shape. Ill be coming back for more for future car audio installs.
