> 3 dayThe cord is really good with nice, thick insulation and fine stranded copper wire. It is very flexible. Please note that the cord is NOT rated for mains AC voltages. This is a LOW VOLTAGE cord (up to 48 volts DC or AC)! The insulation looks like it could be THHN, but its not. I not sure if it is rated for 85°C and the cord is not marked in any way! Finally, the clear plastic outer sheath is very thin and the two wires will separate quite easily. If you are going to be dragging this around, youll need to tape it up to keep the wires together. All in all, this is a good low voltage power or high power speaker cord for stationary or permanent use.

> 3 dayBetter than most wire, and would recommend. Except for cost, and wire size. I felt it lacked a bit. That said.. easy to solder and easy to work with.

02-06-2025OK, I did not use this wire for speakers. I have vehicles in the driveway but the pandemic limits my use of vehicles. So I bought Battery Minders to keep them topped off. The problem is that the vehicles are not in the garage and the Battery Minders cant be left outside. This low impedance wire solved that problem. It seems tough enough to stand California weather (note: no snow!) and it is bright enough that the mailman wont trip on it...

> 3 dayThere are too many uses for these wires. I used it to wire my trailer, connect speakers and many other projects. Will buy 10G and 12G wires in the future. These can be soldered or clamp, and these wires dont oxidize like cheaper copper plated wires

> 3 dayWire is fine. Package looked like it had been used as a soccer ball. No packaging material just item in a box. I know understand why some complained about broken reels. Mine was OK but I dont know why given condition of box and no packing material being used. Nuff said.

> 3 dayI couldn’t resist getting this at a great price. I use wire often and have learned from experience to only get pure copper. I have had to re-do much wiring after using copper-coated aluminum that failed in short order.
