> 3 dayFor some reason, I was thinking I could control each of the three outlets individually. I can’t. It’s all on it all off. Knowing that, I would have still bought it. It’s a great price and I can control my outdoor lighting with my phone and/or schedule the time. It is easy set-up and works great.

> 3 dayI got it set up just fine in the HBN app, but Alexa couldn’t control outlet #1. It could control #2, #3 and all at one time, but not #1. I got a replacement from Amazon (very quickly) but that unit had the same problem. I wrote to the tech support email and got no answer. I submitted a request on their website and got a reply within 30 minutes, but following those instructions didn’t fix it. I’m planning to return the second unit and go with another brand. However, if you just want to use the HBN app to control this outlet, or don’t mind that one outlet can’t be controlled with Alexa, then maybe this is right for you.

Greater than one weekWas able to use one plug for pool equipment, one for some lights that I can turn on and off from my phone and the other a bug zapper that I put on a timer to turn on only during nighttime where it’s most effective. Love it. I’m now an old guy that loves when little things help me out day to day.

> 3 dayI am not a computer or cell phone avid user. The Smart Plug arrived with no instruction manual. Tried to find a copy on the internet to no avail. Followed a youtube tutorial but some of the terms used were greek to me. My daughter was able to get the plug programed to do what I wanted it to do. Would like to get it to respond to Alexa commands but have no idea how to get that done.

> 3 dayThey are not really independent plugs when using with Alexa, only when using the product app which is also very difficult to configure. Also when you try to link to Alexa from their app, it keeps giving an error, no matter if the app is updated to last version.

> 3 dayI bought this because my short wife was having to use a ladder to plug and unplug our outside lights. Now its all controlled by her phone. And when she pulls up theres no getting out of her car into a dark driveway. She just opens the app and presses a button and our yard is lit up like Vegas. Installation was very easy. Ive started recommending this to everyone.

Greater than one weekBought this to replace the BN-Link version, which doesn’t have individual outlet control, for Christmas lights. Plugged in, set up, and tested before installing lights and worked as expected. It’s a good addition to the Kasa KP400 and POWRUI power strip already being used. The only problem is specific to using the new Nest Wifi Pro system and you can’t use Easy Setup mode. The Nest system doesn’t allow for shutting off the 5Ghz band so you have to use manual pairing to connect on 2.4Ghz.
