My second HBN device and I remain a big fan. This one controls a fountain, umbrella, and patio lighting. I can control by app or Google Home.

Youre required to use a downloaded app to install and turn the plug off/on. However, the app youre instructed to use doesnt list this plug as an option during setup. I tried all the available options for wifi plugs (even though none of them looked close to this product) and none worked. Unable to get the plug to be recognized during setup. Sooo, I basically have a regular plug... Also, not sure of its description accuracy that it is outdoor and wet rated. I expected covers for the plug outlets and it doesnt have them.

Easy to set up. Connected to Alexa easily. Been working great with timer!

This WiFi outlet is perfect for outdoor or indoor use. Each outlet plug can be controlled together or independently. So many applications and the ability to create a schedule is the best!

I plugged in two sets of outdoorChristmas lights (originally it was going to be three, never got the third set up) and programmed the on/off times. It went off and on at the correct time very day. The plug hangs under the overhang of my room so it doesn’t get snow or rain, the coldest temperature so far has been 12 degrees F. It work exactly as I needed it too. It’s a little bulky, as you can see in the photo bd there wasn’t. Way to hide it in the needed location - that may not be true for your application. I gave four stars because the set up directions are confusing and could have been written better, they also could have been written in something other than a micro-sized font.

Installation in the Smart Life app is a snap.

This is great, we installed it on our google home, works well. No need to go outside to plug/unplug the Christmas lights

love this i didnt realize it worked with Alexa . I just wanted an outdoor plug for my water fountains. that it works with Alexa is just an added bonus. it so fun to use

Bought this to run outdoor lights. It came in a plastic bag with no instructions. Went on you tube and found a very helpful video to connect to my Alexa, but it would have been nice to have the app that I needed to download in the package. Working as expected.

Bought this to replace the BN-Link version, which doesn’t have individual outlet control, for Christmas lights. Plugged in, set up, and tested before installing lights and worked as expected. It’s a good addition to the Kasa KP400 and POWRUI power strip already being used. The only problem is specific to using the new Nest Wifi Pro system and you can’t use Easy Setup mode. The Nest system doesn’t allow for shutting off the 5Ghz band so you have to use manual pairing to connect on 2.4Ghz.
