On initial setup the process seemed a bit difficult, but manageable. Scheduling the switches was convenient especially with the ability for multiple schedules and being able to set the three outlets for different times. Over the period of a year the device occasionally removed itself completely from the phone app. It was necessary to add the device back into the app and add new schedules each time this occurred. This happened 5 times over the year Ive used this device. It occurred again yesterday and this time I can no longer find the device using the phone app. I have reset the device multiple times, and left it powered off for over an hour before trying again. The device will no longer function. I now must begin a search for a new (different) device to handle my backyard lighting. I really wanted this Wi-Fi plug to help, but I am incredibly disappointed.

I was looking for an outdoor timer for Halloween and Christmas lights. After trying a few other non smart plugs, I decided to try this one mainly for the convenience of knowing I can change the schedule if needed without having to be home and that it had three individually controlled outlets. The app is easy to use, easy to set schedules by individual outlet, and has come on and gone off without any issues. I highly recommend.

I use this to turn on my Christmas lights. Each one of the 3 outlets can be scheduled to come on at different times. Took me a couple of minutes to figure out the programming for the app but once I stumbled through it, it’s actually pretty easy.

I’m using this and two other smart plugs. My only concern is that the instructions to set them up / connect to the wifi are not accurate. The SmartLife app is not exactly as described in the instructions and the pairing does not match either. It seems that the process and app had been updated since the printing of those instructions packed in the box that I received. The other complain is that you can schedule the day/time to turn on the plug, but you cannot schedule when to turn them off. Every day you have to reset the timer to turn it off. Not well designed or thought thru.

I got it set up to work with Alexa. I’ve got it running night lights on my back porch and patio. A few times a night they will shut off for only a second and then turns right back on. A bit frustrating but at least they turn back on I guess. Wouldn’t get it if you need something super reliable

I could not use it for my pool pump and fountain pump because it would keep shutting off

Product sent originally was not the right one. I went back to the company (BM-Link) directly via email. Darren got back to me immediately, took care of relaxing the product with the right one and then followed up promptly to make sure I was satisfied. Great product that can be used for outdoor applications with three individually controlled outlets. But even greater customer support.

I was not able to get this set up with the instructions included in the box. The page numbers were all off and half of the pages were missing.
