Greater than one weekBought these to plug in the Christmas lights and decor and made it extremely handy to turn them on/off. No more bending awkwardly behind a Christmas tree to fumble around for a plug or on/off switch. Ill be using these for lamps and other electronics that dont need to be on all of the time...like a treadmill and/or printer.

> 3 dayBear with me, and I’ll explain four stars when in the specifics I rate as three stars. For a Internet / Bluetooth integrated home automation switch that does not require any mainstream voice activated device; these are fabulous. 2.4GHz WiFi, a smartphone or tablet on the same network, and your good to go. These work great, the app is simple enough to use or as complex as you may require. I now have eight of these, with six in use, and two that I haven’t found a spot for yet (bought in the 2/pack option as it is the most economical at the time). My initial purchase, with NetGear wireless router was easy to set up with the Tulia app. But this was an old router and we were having other issues, so I replaced it with a Linksys. This is where my issues with this product begin. You CANNOT just change network connection devices, the plugs have to be removed from the old one and added to the new one. Also, the first four I bought worked with the Tulia app, the second purchase of four more will not. I had to change to the companies other app, SmartLife. Same layout, same features, just a different name in the surface; yet, obviously, different programmatically. As I had named each plug, and each individual socket, changing apps and routers was a giant pain. Honestly, this didn’t take a long time, but it’s 30-45 minutes wasted for lack of thought. And longer wasted renaming and setting back up the schedules I had created. Once configured, these things are awesome! 1 outside for Christmas Lights (at the time I’m writing this) 1 in the front room for the tree 2 in the living room for standup lamps on opposite sides of the room 1 in the bedroom for night stand lamps 1 in the back bedroom for decorations All of the Christmas lights are in a group, with a schedule to come on twenty minutes before sunset (local time by location) and go off at 2230. My wife night stand lamp comes on and goes off at a set time, so she doesn’t have to turn on the overhead light when going to bed. The living room lights are set to come on thirty minutes before sunset, and off 2230. And a second schedule to come on before we get up in the morning, and go off after we leave for work. Plus, these are on different schedules for the weekend vs week days. These are perfect for giving the house a lived in look of people being home, even when we’re not. We don’t usually stay out late, so we come in to a lit home. Now that things are set up, I can control the switch or individual socket from anywhere in the world that I have internet service. Or they’ll run their schedule for the days set. *My MAJOR Gripe* The switch in the master bedroom has two lamps, both with low wattage LED bulbs. They will not both stay on at the same time. I don’t know if this is due to an overload and auto shutoff safety feature, or I have a bad switch. But I can turn both on, and a few minutes later they shut off. Turn one on, and it stays on until scheduled off time or manually turned off.

> 3 daySlight issue get them to work right. Instructions on setting them up not real clear. Using them fid holiday lights. They work great once you master the set up

> 3 dayNot the best range or consistent connection based on distance from router but overall does the job, like the dual plugs. Wish there was a little bit more space between them and way to secure a tighter fit but overall pleased.

> 3 dayThis dual plug has terrible instructions and setup. Ive used many bluetooth and Alexa products. This one is so bad I had to return it. Every step along the way, which is many, to get it automated with Alexa was not straight forward, was confusing, did not work, or otherwise caused problems. The instructions are tiny lettering and non intuitive. I could not find the starting point. There is a link for online PDF instructions. The link goes to their home page and no further. No help. I found the app and installed it. The setup showed about a dozen different plugs. No model numbers on mine of the dozen in the app. None of the ones in the app looked like my dual plug - they were all single plugs. I tried the auto setup but the device did not appear. Eventually, I found tiny page numbers on the instructions and each page is only a half page so 1-9 goes along the top half and 10-18 along the bottom half. Then another 18 mini pages on the backside. If you just try to read the instructions you go from step 1 to step 10 to step 2 to step 11. Very confusing. I skipped the NOTE to hold on/off for 5 sec for factory reset since it was a new product. Next step - status based on blinking lights - didnt help because there were no blinking lights. Back to factory reset. But holding down the button did nothing. I tried the second button, that did the trick. Now theres a blue flashing light. Back to the app. The device showed up in auto setup. I had to enter my wifi password for the app, then again for the device. Setup timed out. I had to enter the wifi password again to retry. Timed out again. You get the picture. Eventually I copied that password so I could paste it in each time. I took several tries before the setup actually worked. Now for Alexa setup. There is a link in the app to setup Alexa. I tried it. It took me to a page that said if youre seeing this you need to update your app. I went to the app store. Looks like I have the latest version thats 1 year old - no updates available. I realized that HBN were amatuers and decided to return the product at this point. Im trying the Govee product, and theyre worked for me in the past.

> 3 dayBought this smart double plug to control under cabinet LEDs in our kitchen. I was already frustrated that the lights were taking 2 outlets and I didnt want to have to use 2 smart plugs - this was the perfect solution! It plugs in to a single plug and was super simple to set up with our Google Home. Its been about a week and so far no issues, just a much more convenient life! Will definitely consider HBN smart plugs in the future because their systems are so simple to set up and their configurations are so unique.

> 3 dayI bought a set of 8 of them a while ago and love them they work great and are super quick to use. This newest batch came and the box was all crushed and they were all over the place in the bag. Ill edit my review if theyre not working after testing. As for the first batch I only had occasional days where a routine in Google home would not trigger a switch to power on or off for our bearded dragons light. All in all great though and will most likely buy more.

Greater than one weekThis is a pack of 2 devices, each with 2 outlets. There are 4 outlets total that you can control individually. For the price, this is a great buy. Setup is also very very easy with your phone and Smart Life app. Of course, if your Smart Life app is registered with Alexa, you can control them with Alexa as well. You can set schedule for on/off via Alexa or device app. Like most of these types of smart devices, they only use 2.4ghz Wi-Fi which is very common in today’s home. Other things: + when each outlet is on, a red arrow light turns on, pointing to the active outlet. Not too bright. + when each outlet is off, the device switches on a single blue indicator arrow. Again, not too bright. + there is an audible click as each outlet is switched on/off + pressing the same individual arrows as stated above will manually switch each outlet on/off. + pairs easily with Alexa app. Alexa adds it as 3 devices. (1 device with 2 outlets = 3) Example: Living room with lamp1 and lamp2 Overall, a great deal vs buying 4 individual smart plugs/outlet . I do have single smart plugs and inevitably I wish there was a second outlet on it to use as an always on. These help deal with that and more.

> 3 dayGood product. Instructions did not match the item. Instructions showed a power off button on the side. Units did not have it. To get the WiFi to connect, I figured out that you had to press and hold both arrows on the front for 3-5 seconds and they would blink blue. Then it would connect to the app. If you want the item to turn on at a certain time, then turn off, you need to cease a schedule for each event. One schedule for on, and another for off. Other than wrong instructions, items work great.
