> 3 dayAfter connecting with HBN app easily integrates with Alexa smart control. I use this to control outside lights and a shop light in my basement. Can easily setup trimmers or arrange to operate based on daylight.

> 3 dayI dont have Alexa at home, but it works great with the App, which you can use from anywhere. Before entering the house we light the Christmas Tree to enjoy our decoration

> 3 dayI bought a set of 8 of them a while ago and love them they work great and are super quick to use. This newest batch came and the box was all crushed and they were all over the place in the bag. Ill edit my review if theyre not working after testing. As for the first batch I only had occasional days where a routine in Google home would not trigger a switch to power on or off for our bearded dragons light. All in all great though and will most likely buy more.

Greater than one weekThis dual plug has terrible instructions and setup. Ive used many bluetooth and Alexa products. This one is so bad I had to return it. Every step along the way, which is many, to get it automated with Alexa was not straight forward, was confusing, did not work, or otherwise caused problems. The instructions are tiny lettering and non intuitive. I could not find the starting point. There is a link for online PDF instructions. The link goes to their home page and no further. No help. I found the app and installed it. The setup showed about a dozen different plugs. No model numbers on mine of the dozen in the app. None of the ones in the app looked like my dual plug - they were all single plugs. I tried the auto setup but the device did not appear. Eventually, I found tiny page numbers on the instructions and each page is only a half page so 1-9 goes along the top half and 10-18 along the bottom half. Then another 18 mini pages on the backside. If you just try to read the instructions you go from step 1 to step 10 to step 2 to step 11. Very confusing. I skipped the NOTE to hold on/off for 5 sec for factory reset since it was a new product. Next step - status based on blinking lights - didnt help because there were no blinking lights. Back to factory reset. But holding down the button did nothing. I tried the second button, that did the trick. Now theres a blue flashing light. Back to the app. The device showed up in auto setup. I had to enter my wifi password for the app, then again for the device. Setup timed out. I had to enter the wifi password again to retry. Timed out again. You get the picture. Eventually I copied that password so I could paste it in each time. I took several tries before the setup actually worked. Now for Alexa setup. There is a link in the app to setup Alexa. I tried it. It took me to a page that said if youre seeing this you need to update your app. I went to the app store. Looks like I have the latest version thats 1 year old - no updates available. I realized that HBN were amatuers and decided to return the product at this point. Im trying the Govee product, and theyre worked for me in the past.

> 3 dayThe available app does not work on the current version of Android OS. Luckily I had an old iPad and was able to connect to the plug using the HBN app on it. Buyer beware.

Greater than one weekI have several different brands of smart plugs that I control through the Smart Life app. I wanted to add a double outlet, and ordered this one at a good price from Amazon. The set up instructions were confusing at best, so I contacted BN-Link customer service for help. The plug turned out to be defective, so the company quickly sent a replacement. A couple things I did learn about connecting this plug - select BLE + Wi-Fi as the device to add to Smart Life. There are two buttons on the plug, only need to push one of them for power to connect Wi-Fi to the whole outlet. The two outlets on the app and the plug aren’t separately identified - you have to plug something in to see what controls what. In spite of the quirky instructions and the initial problems, the unit is working well now. Thank you to Steven, Darren and Dianna in customer service for their help.

> 3 dayI love how easy these are to set up. I purchased some from another company and I have to struggle to get the app to find those. I ended up replacing them all with these. I like having two separate plugs. There are some that are set up with one plug on a timer (lamp, wax melter, etc) with the other one always on. When I bought a new router it took me 5 minutes to reset them. Most of that time was getting around furniture to the plug. I havent had any issues if the power goes out. they just automatically reconnect. I havent figured out how to connect to my Alexa, but it works fine with the app on my phone. Plus, this way I can turn the lights on and off no matter where I am so it looks like Im home. Definitely worth the money.

> 3 dayEasy to setup. Works well when paired with my WiFi. There is about a 1 second delay after turning the switch on, but that isn’t a deal breaker. Good product.

> 3 dayI purchased a smart plug with 2 outlets and one with three outlets to light my outside Christmas lights. I was using a typical remote control unit that’s outside rated until I found this product. Despite my skepticism, it was extremely easy to set up and is working very well even in the -33 degrees Fahrenheit windchill we’ve been expressing for the last few days. I am very impressed and happy with this purchase. Will definitely recommend this product.

Greater than one weekI cant find any instructions that seem to work. I will keep trying as I think they will be great should I get them synced. Having trouble with Alexa/Amazon account syncing too.
