I watched videos on Amazon, YouTube and others on YouTube that a QR code on the package directed me to along with reading the enclosed instructions that were in the package. It still took me over two hours to set it up to work remotely. Once I got there it worked as well as any device I use with Alexa and theres the convenience of in effect having an added outlet. Id buy it again.

I was able to connect it ok. But when I turn a switch on there is no power to the outlets. Sending back. UPDATE on REPLACEMENT: I got the replacement and its working. As others have said the instructions are problematic. For example they dont explain that only one blue arrow lights up when establishing the network connection for the entire 2-up outlet.

I’m truck driver away from home 2 months, I love this for two lamps inside my apt, I program them at different time to turn on and off :))

Slight issue get them to work right. Instructions on setting them up not real clear. Using them fid holiday lights. They work great once you master the set up

Bought this smart double plug to control under cabinet LEDs in our kitchen. I was already frustrated that the lights were taking 2 outlets and I didnt want to have to use 2 smart plugs - this was the perfect solution! It plugs in to a single plug and was super simple to set up with our Google Home. Its been about a week and so far no issues, just a much more convenient life! Will definitely consider HBN smart plugs in the future because their systems are so simple to set up and their configurations are so unique.

Just what i needed, working from home recently redid my home work desk. got a real desk and put 2 lamps on the corner. was getting cumbersome reaching over to turn them on and off. got this plug and now have it set on a daily timer to automatically turn on and off. setup was a little wonky as others have mentioned. opened the smartlife app which i use with other smart outlets to setup. found it tried to connect got an error, tried to refresh and nothing. But went back to the homepage and there it was and worked flawlessly. not sure if it was the app or the product but its all good now.

I have six of dual receptacle model and they are far and away the best Ive tried; several brands have done very poorly here, notably Wemo, they cant seem to find the devices, although there is a strong signal, and moving them often required reinstalling which was tedious; in contrast these work flawlessly, the Bluetooth feature immediately finds the device bypassing the need to manually install, and onces you given your WIFI password once youre good to go for the other devices. The software adapts perfectly to changes. I plan to purchase light switches as well.

DOSENT WORK AS WELL AS I EXPECTED, SOMETIMES CANT GET THE SIGNAL TO WORK

Maybe Im getting old, but I could not figure out how to get this thing hooked up. I have used several brands of smart plugs without an issue that were much easier to use.

These work great and even better I dont have to create an account to use them so it makes function easy. The outlets work independently so that’s a bonus as you can set a timer/schedule for both or one separately.
