> 3 dayI was apprehensive about purchasing this at first, as it didnt look silver. I wanted the size which isnt sold in any off brand so I bit the bullet and paid the 199 for it. It is actually silver, or that is what I received, which I prefer. I have another 7 qt Hexclad piece that is more of an everyday pan which I am very happy with. I also have other off brand pieces and an off brand set that I really like. Thus far they all perform equally and the off brand are actually prettier as they have designs. I purchased off brand sets for my son and daughter who really like them. Both sets were a different brand and perform equally. I added to their sets with different brand everyday pans and skillets, as I want to test as many of the different brands as possible. My daughter really loves them and has started cooking more as she says they make cooking more enjoyable : ). My son says his performs equally as well and likes the fact that they are nonstick and clean up quickly. Im getting rid of most of my other cookware, except for my cast iron, which is irreplaceable no matter what. I season the cookware everytime I use it, and use a generous amount of olive oil in all of my cooking, complimented with butter. Olive oil is very good for your health, no need to ration, there are no downsides to olive oil. Im really glad I discovered this new technology, in any brand.

> 3 dayAs others have mentioned, this came packaged beautifully and would make a wonderful wedding or house warming gift. I washed and seasoned as recommended. I havent cooked anything in it at a high heat. So far clean up has been awesome. Ive only handwashed it, no dishwasher for me. Overall very pleased and I hope it lasts forever. It should at thos pricepoint.

> 3 dayThis was my introduction to Hexclad cookware and I love it! The pot is nice and heavy and cooks evenly. My chili did not stick to the bottom of the pot and cleaned up easily with soap and water. The handles on the pot did not get hot and the glass lid fit tightly. The cookware was presented very nicely with the pot and the lid each inside of a dust cover. It looked and felt like a premium product. I have no way of knowing how this pot will perform after a few months of use, but I am very pleased with it now. I expect that as long as it is taken care of properly that it will last a long time. I am very happy with it!

Greater than one weekIve had the set of three fry pans with lids for a month or so and I was so impressed with them, I purchased this pot and lid a couple of weeks later and couldnt be happier. Ive used this pot a number of times on both a gas flame and an infrared electric cook top and it performed well on both heat sources. After reading the user instructions which accompanied the pot and watching numerous video reviews, I saw where reviewers who obviously either didnt read or decided to ignore the simple seasoning procedure and then say it isnt as Non-stick as some other pans. Ive cooked pasta with sauce, made soups and stews, including searing the stew meat in this pot. The results have been delicious. In all situations, so far, clean-up has been little more than a bit of hot water and if needed, a drop of dishwashing liquid and your done. I like the fact that the hybrid coating extends up the inside walls as well as the bottom of the pans. Makes keeping the bottom clean for better, more even heat distribution. The workmanship and the quality of materials youll find with this, will insure it will become an essential tool in your kitchen.

> 3 dayI have been wanting to try a Hexclad product ever since I saw a display at Costco and heard all about them. I like how this cooked evenly, cleaned easily, and can be used on the stove and in the oven. It does come with instructions saying not to use a high temperature, but I do not know if that is because it will reduce the longevity of the product or because this technology does not sear well. I am deducting one star for this reason. I like to be able to use all temperatures.

08-06-2025First off the packaging is fantastic. The certificate and paper work it comes shows you right from opening it that this is quality. The paper stock is high quality and very thick. The attention to detail is 10/10. The pot comes with its own bag to store or carry in. When I pulled out this pot it was a thing of beauty. This is my second HexClad item and this blew me away even more. Ok enough with the presentation aspect. I seasoned it then I threw in stew meat with flour which always stuck to my stainless. Such a headache but thats a thing of the past. Nothing stuck at all, I was shocked. When it came time to clean it was a breeze. I am in love with this pot if you cant tell. Kudos guys, you knocked it out of the park as far as I am concerned! Oh yeah you can use metal untensil in a non-stick! Mind blown!!!

> 3 dayThis HexClad 8 Quart Hybrid Stainless Steel Pot Saucepan with Glass Lid, Stay Cool Handles, and Non-Stick PFOA-Free is an absolute must-have! It is perfect for everything from making a gourmet meal to boiling water for pasta. The stay cool handles make it safe and easy to use, and the non-stick PFOA-free coating is super helpful in ensuring that nothing sticks to the pan. The glass lid is also great for monitoring whats cooking without having to lift the lid. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality, durable and efficient pot saucepan. Five stars!

Greater than one weekDisclaimer: Im a cast-iron nerd. Outside of for fond pans and Dutch ovens, thank you but I want my cookware pure. Enamel however, is only a limited solution for fond or Dutch. Once worn or damaged, it only can get worse. Unlike with pure cast-iron, the coating cant be repaired. So now I get this (+/-) Dutch oven, and the instructions says, Be sure to always season your HexClad cookware with oil. Do that, and the coating will only get better over time. Ah What? Thats cast-iron talk. Youre building up a vegetable oil polymerized coating on top of the HexClad coating? This will be interesting to see over a longer time of usage. Otherwise, it is a very nicely constructed pot. Not as hefty as cast-iron, but still some good weight to it. Oven safe up to 500F, so I am going to give it a workout as a Dutch oven. Now, the advert above does say dishwasher safe, but if youre seasoning a pan or pot, the one way you do not want to clean them, is in a dishwasher.
