HexClad 10 Quart Hybrid Stainless Steel Stock Pot with Glass Lid Stay Cool Handles, Dishwasher and Oven Safe, Works on Induction, Ceramic and Gas Cooktops

I do a lot of cooking. I make bit batches of broth, soup, stew, all manner of liquidy food for which I use a big stockpot. My old stockpot finally actually developed a small hole (!), thats how old it was! I started looking for a new one, saw this Hexclad, and even though it was pricey, ordered. The size is perfect. I can use it for small, medium or large batches. I am a stainless steel lover, but simply worship non-stick, so the finish on this pot is the absolute best of both worlds. It requires no special care or utensils, and apparently you can scour it with steel wool; but you can believe me when I say that I am as careful as can be with my pots. It can also go into a very hot oven (500), and is dishwasher save. The tri-ply construction is heavy duty and durable, and I, for one, REALLY appreciate the stay-cool handles! It can be used on any stovetop, including induction, which makes it even more versatile. It heats evenly, and cleans easily. I am truly delighted, and would recommend it to anyone needing or wanting a large stockpot that will last forever. Quality tells. This would make a fabulous gift for any cook, and Christmas is coming. I am delighted with this pot, both in design and function. Hubby is delighted with the food that comes out of it! I am impressed. Wow!

So These Hexclad are too nice too cook on. Very nice quality! The handles and lids are the real deal! Cooked fantastic with our first meal using them. Cleaned up easy! Wife is a happy camper this Christmas!!

This pot is thick and sturdy. Very high quality. Weve cooked some soups and stews and theyve done great in this pot. Large enough to double my usual recipe.

This is a good looking and cooking pot. Don’t have to be so cautious like other coated pots.

Ive had the set of three fry pans with lids for a month or so and I was so impressed with them, I purchased this pot and lid a couple of weeks later and couldnt be happier. Ive used this pot a number of times on both a gas flame and an infrared electric cook top and it performed well on both heat sources. After reading the user instructions which accompanied the pot and watching numerous video reviews, I saw where reviewers who obviously either didnt read or decided to ignore the simple seasoning procedure and then say it isnt as Non-stick as some other pans. Ive cooked pasta with sauce, made soups and stews, including searing the stew meat in this pot. The results have been delicious. In all situations, so far, clean-up has been little more than a bit of hot water and if needed, a drop of dishwashing liquid and your done. I like the fact that the hybrid coating extends up the inside walls as well as the bottom of the pans. Makes keeping the bottom clean for better, more even heat distribution. The workmanship and the quality of materials youll find with this, will insure it will become an essential tool in your kitchen.

Very strong and sturdy. Love the make and look of this too. Will get lots of years of use out of this. Very high quality and would make a great gift as well. Expensive but worth it.

My husband and me love cooking, we both love this 10 Quart Stock Pot, it cooks wonderful and super easy clean big.

If you havent owned one, nows the time. HexClad products are just legit-and-a-half. Just unpacking it, youd know immediately that youre unpacking what a lot of chefs are calling, The Rolls Royce of cookware. The material is solid and you know it will last for a very, very long time. It has a nice weight to it and that tells you the legitimacy of this product. The lid also has a nice weight to it. Seamless design that impresses everyone who uses it. All you need to do before using it is read the directions on how to correctly season it so you can take advantage of the non-stick feature of the HexClad and to ensure that it will last for a very long time. This is a great find.

I wasn’t sure what this would be like, I have had Calphalon and Farberware before. I was never able to use metal utensils with my other nonstick cookware. I was very surprised when I read the pamphlet that came with this pot; you can use metal utensils and can even clean it with steel wool! The inside feels almost rubberized to the touch but it isn’t, it is the heating distribution patterns that are etched into the sides somehow. This heated up and almost full pot of chicken soup in less time than my other stock pots. Nothing stuck to the bottom even though I forgot about it for a while and it was boiling away. you do need to season it before using it but all that requires is 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and a few minutes on the stove. This is my new favorite stock pot and I can’t wait to make a batch of French onion soup and then a batch of meat sauce!
