This is a nice, attractive pot. It is heavy, works well with induction, and heats evenly. So far I have only used it to make burgers - the high walls help to contain spatter. It cleans up well, but I havent tried making eggs in it, and likely wont. It recommends seasoning, which is utter nonsense. The black coating is ceramic nonstick, and the silver bits are stainless steel. Neither of these materials take well to seasoning, as they are not porous surfaces. It is trendy online to recommend seasoning stainless, but at best it is a waste of time and oil. At worst, you can polymerize the oil, and destroy the finish of your pot. Update: I did wind up using this for eggs this morning. I fried up a slice of bacon and a sausage patty in it (to control spatter) and then cooked two beaten eggs mixed with 3 tbsp of salsa. I used the bacon grease from the slice of bacon to cook the eggs.My expectations were low based on other reviewers experience with eggs. I was pleasantly surprised that the eggs did not stick at all. Normally, I turn the burner off shortly before the eggs are done, put cheese on top, and then cover to let the cheese melt from the residual heat. I forgot to turn the burner off this morning, but still no sticking - and the cheese didnt stick either. I used an induction burner set to 400 watts, which is approximately medium-low.

This pot seems to be very durable. It distributes heat evenly. I like that this pot has double handles for easy maneuvering and holding. I had no issues with food sticking (I did season it prior to my first use). The lid sits pretty well on the pot. It’s easy to clean. I hand wash all my pots and pans so I don’t know how it handles in the dishwasher. I have no issues so far.

This is a good looking and cooking pot. Don’t have to be so cautious like other coated pots.

Not only is worth the money you pay for this and that it has lifetime warranty, but the fact that there’s a lot for every need. I got all the pots that they make and I use them all but this one is the king because it makes easy to cook for lots of people or meals that need a big space.

This pot is thick and sturdy. Very high quality. Weve cooked some soups and stews and theyve done great in this pot. Large enough to double my usual recipe.

If you havent owned one, nows the time. HexClad products are just legit-and-a-half. Just unpacking it, youd know immediately that youre unpacking what a lot of chefs are calling, The Rolls Royce of cookware. The material is solid and you know it will last for a very, very long time. It has a nice weight to it and that tells you the legitimacy of this product. The lid also has a nice weight to it. Seamless design that impresses everyone who uses it. All you need to do before using it is read the directions on how to correctly season it so you can take advantage of the non-stick feature of the HexClad and to ensure that it will last for a very long time. This is a great find.

This pot is the highest quality I’ve owned. I’m impressed with its durability and anticipate it will last forever. There’s nothing I can say about it that I don’t love. You’re able to use metal utensils in it and it’s oven safe up to 500 degrees. It’s also dishwasher safe, but I plan to hand wash anyway for the sake of keeping it top notch and to save space. If you’re on the fence about purchasing this stock pot, do it! You will certainly not regret it.

I’ve used this stock pot once so far and it appears to do and be everything that it claim. It is tough as nails, I used metal in it with not a single scratch. I used it both on my gas stove and an induction plate and they both worked fine. I did season as per instructions before use. I seared chicken in here first and it never stuck but had a really nice brown sear. Then I did a cream sauce which came together well. Holds heat very well. I had left some cream sauce in the bottom overnight and next day, I looked at that big pot dreading cleaning it out. I tilted it and that thick sauce began to just pour out as if it were greased underneath. That was amazing. That would have been a sticky mess in another pot. This is a really large pot! 10Q (I believe it said 11” diameter) so you better have a place to store it. I’m looking forward to making my Chile Con Carne and being able to sear my Chuck roast with no sticking. Also, I haven’t tested its ability to hold a steady, low and slow heat but I have no doubt it will pass that test also. This really is like a hybrid cookware with non stick surface but feels and acts like stainless clad and holds steady heat like cast iron. This is expensive cookware, no doubt, but if you can’t afford the large stock pot, you absolutely have to try to get a pan. I will be looking for a pan for everyday usage. I’m sold on Hex Clad! Gordon Ramsey is right!! Imagine that!!

It’s heavy but I’m guessing that’s why it cooks evenly and cleans up extremely well.
