Hillsdale Montello 32-Inch Swivel Bar Stool, Old Steel Finish with Faux Brown Leather

We love the stools, theyre a little on the heavy side but look way more expensive than they are. One of them arrived slightly dinged up on the top of back. We fixed it with a black sharpie pen and looks pretty good. For the price I think we got a good buy, but they are rather difficult to put together and there is definitely a knack to it. Basically, you cannot force the screws into the holes; the screws are made from extremely cheap and soft metal you need someone who will be patient. Youve got only one chance to get the screws in correctly and you probably should put the screws in in an X pattern. The first one we tried to put together we stripped one of the screws and it will have to be replaced. Other than the plastic on the seats being very difficult to remove (out of four chairs we could remove the plastic on only one chair correctly). Also, the styrofoam packaging got all over the house and clung to us and as a result the house had to be cleaned and our clothes needed to be washed. All in all were pleased with our purchase, we feel like we got a good deal, the stools look great are a perfect fit for your kitchen eating area.

They arrived in a box that looked like it went around the world 100 times, but surprisingly well packed and without damage. Slightly annoying to put together. They wrap the seat in plastic that you really can only get off if you unscrew the seat , and put it back on, BEFORE you assemble the legs. But... that said...they are heavy, slightly stiff on the swivel, and the seats is NOT LEATHER...vinyl...and the pictures are hard to see but the top of the back is wood. They are reasonably comfortable. BUT they look very pretty!

I am reordering these stools because someone said to get the 32inch stools to match the table. Terrible fit. Dont get the 32inch bar stools to match table, does not match up. The stools are sturdy and were easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the matching table is of poor quality.

A little stiff and difficult to swivel, otherwise assembly is easy and they look nice!

First, not much to the assembly. Very easy. If your looking for heavy duty, then these are your chairs. I m dropping down a star due to the heaviness. They look great though. We needed counter height, and for us, these chairs seem to be about an inch too high for total comfort, but i guess thats a matter of preference. All in all, i dont think you would be disappointed in the stools,

Found these bar stools at a local furniture store. They couldnt guarantee delivery for 3 weeks at the earliest, and we later found out that we could get the exact same stools for half the price through Amazon. A no brainier.... Nice stools, good quality, and easy to put together. Would recommend.

Great!! I bought three for the breakfast bar. They look awesome, and are very comfortable and sturdy. Kind of heavy, but in a good way. Highly recommend. Pretty easy to assemble if you have some basic tool skills. The only drawback is the swivel seat swivels best when the weight of your body is on the seat. It doesnt turn very easy when turning by hand without any weight on the seat. This means if the stool is pushed up neatly to the bar, you have to turn the whole stool around to sit on it. If you have mobility issues turning the entire heavy stool around could be an issue. Maybe this will loosen up with time.

The barstools are high quality. We could not be more pleased.

Finally, a bar stool that is made solid. This was our third try at finding a bar stool for our high kitchen bar counter for the right height and quality of product. Saw this, decided to try, but only ordered one. Arrived in great shape, earlier than estimated, took hubby about 10 minutes to take out of box and put seat on. The rest of the stool is welded together. Amazing. Great design, very pleased with the craftsmanship and it is high enough for the bar counter and easy for this 52 frame to take a seat. Did not disappoint at all. In fact, we ordered two more. Yay!

We just love these 2 counter-height barstools for our kitchen island. They are the perfect addition to our new home with our antique white kitchen cabinets and beige, brown and white quartz counter tops. We searched for so many barstools prior to finding them, and we knew they were the right fit.
