Hillsdale Montello 32-Inch Swivel Bar Stool, Old Steel Finish with Faux Brown Leather

This is a purchase you hesitate a bit making since it is fairly pricey, and you cant see it in person first. Based on the reviews, it seemed like a safe bet and it definitely is. Great quality, and even better looking than the pictures. Only gripe was pulling off some of the protective plastic wrap was a pain in a few spots. Well worth the money overall.

Love the chairs. They are comfortable and affordable. Was disappointed that there was NO hardware in the box.

I am reordering these stools because someone said to get the 32inch stools to match the table. Terrible fit. Dont get the 32inch bar stools to match table, does not match up. The stools are sturdy and were easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the matching table is of poor quality.

Love the stools, but I was disappointed when I realized the top of the stool is made of some type of plastic, it looked like wood from the pictures and no other reviews mention this. I still really love the look of the stool and they are made well. We use them at are basement bar.

We ordered 4 of these bar height chairs - not a cheap purchase at all - over $500 - while they are very nice they are not the same size and there is some damage as you can see in the picture. Dont know how to resolve this as there is no phone number on Amazon to contact with a problem - just return or keep...

Very sturdy, easy to assemble!

I would had given 5 stars but your ad makes the chair looks as if it is silver in the metal area (even when I zoom across it); and thats what I was looking for, but instead I received bronze color metal thats not too attractive with all stainless steel appliances. Yes the chairs are sturdy, and the seat padding is comfortable and swirling is very quiet, but the color of the metal is not what I need.

WE BOUGHT TWO OF THE STOOLS. 1ST ONE CAME AND WAS PERFECT. 2ND ONE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IDENTICAL, BUT HARDLY WAS. IT WOBBLED ON UNEVEN LEGS, WOULDNT SWIVEL, DID NOT MATCH COLOR OF METAL OR WOOD OF THE 1ST ONE, AND WAS ALMOST 3/4 TALLER. EVEN THE WOOD TOPS WERE DIFFERENT SHAPE & TEXTURE. HILLSDALE PROVIDED INFO FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT WAS VIRTUALLY NO SERVICE AT ALL. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER APPEARS AS A KENTUCKY NUMBER, BUT IS JUST A FRONT FOR AN INTERNATIONAL NUMBER THAT WOULDNT WORK, EVEN AFTER FIVE TRIES. TRIED THEIR E-MAIL ADDRESS, BUT THEY JUST IGNORED MY FIRST E-MAIL. WE FINALLY CONNECTED, BUT THEN THEY COULDNT FIND OUR ORDER, EVEN THOUGH I GAVE THEM THE ORDER NUMBERS THREE TIMES, IN THE HEADING OF THE E-MAIL! AFTER FINALLY FINDING OUR ORDER, THEY WOULD NOT SEND ANYTHING TO US TO TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEMS, AND THEN SIMPLY IGNORED OUR E-MAILS. DECIDED TO RETURN THEM TO AMAZON. ALTHOUGH CONFUSING, ESPECIALLY FOR THE FIRST TIME RETURNING THINGS, AMAZON DID ACT DECENTLY TO GET US A RETURN LABEL, BUT THEIR SITE IS TERRIBLE ABOUT DISCLOSING A CONTACT NUMBER TO TALK TO SOMEONE. STILL WAITING FOR REFUND TO SEE IF THE RETURN SYSTEM WORKS.

These are perfect for our 45 high counter top that extends into our morning room. I have a toddler who usually sits on her knees to reach comfortably, but shes a toddler so its all good. ;) For adults, its a great height for enjoying food or beverages in the morning room. The construction of the item is solid. Theres no wobbling on the floor and assembly was a breeze! We had an extra high kitchen counter in our new house and needed a higher than average stool. We searched for weeks and liked the Hillsdale Montello swivel stool. After getting the shipment....we were very happy with the sturdiness and quality of the stool. Of course nothing is always perfect, and one stool was delivered damaged, but Hillsdale was totally accommadating with exchange and replacement and very professional.
