Greater than one weekAwesome! It was totally compatible with my wired Vista 10-SE sensors! You will need the compatible keypad(s), wired or wireless, to go with this! The programming side might be a little challenging for the non-technical (I am a professional engineer). The user manual could do with a little more explanation, but Ill let that go! Great quality and value package at a very reasonable price! Recommend the EVL 4 to get the system online and talking to your smartphone! I am a big advocate of self monitoring, been doing it for nearly 20 years now! This package was just perfect for my requirements!

> 3 dayThis is a great security panel I got it a couple months ago and it was easy to install and program if you understand how it works I was able to install it in a day and its easy to wire up and add new devices.

> 3 dayThis unit was 1/4 the cost of the replacement my professional installer quoted for the part. This was so cheap I had doubts that it was legitimate. Well, I received the enclosure, lock, 20p card, and power supply. I wired everything up, had the installer reprogram the new card, and was back in business. No issues, and I saved hundreds by doing part of the work myself. There is no known way to transfer the programming from a bad board to a new one, so be prepared to have the system reprogrammed.

> 3 dayOur Brinks system from 1998 lost 10-12 zones over the past 8 years. When we were down to the smoke detectors and just the front door I knew it was time to invest in a new system. At least we could update to 2022-wifi-phone-alert-app-ready-newness. But what do I do with the 142 hardwired sensors ran throughout my house that still work perfectly? And a wife and kids that are used to the 4 keypad panels we have at multiple entrance/exits? Enter the Vista 20P. Everything that I need from 1980 but just slightly newer. Even programming the sensors was something straight out of 1980. But it works. And every sensor works. And every zone works. No lost wifi signals... No dead batteries in sensors... Not a single problem (there was one). I had to add more boards to cover all of our zones wired in parallel and series. There is not enough room in the alarm panel for the extra boards? Weird. There is so much empty space under the main board. Adding extra boards is a complete afterthought and many people wire them outside of the locked alarm box and run wires in...that seems counterproductive to a security system...I removed the extra boards from the plastic cases they came in and CNCd some mounts for inside the box. Also got a DIN-rail and some Wagos. I can also add another board for wifi-internet-app access later but it will have to be mounted on the back of the door. The only thing that did not work, was a LiPo battery to use as a backup. I figured I updated the panel and rewired everything, I may as well add a fancy battery. As soon as I did that, the heatsink on the mainboard got uncomforatbly hot. 142 hardwired sensors, 4 smoke detectors, and 4 keypad panels and that thing was barely warm. Added a LiPo backup battery and that did it. Went back to the old one that I had for now. Panel comes with a new power supply and is straightforward to hookup and program. The average DIY person can tackle this. Do not be afraid.

> 3 dayPurchased this panel directly from an authorized Honeywell dealer. This was to replace an existing Vista 20se which did not support the Tuxedo Touch console. The unit powered up correctly, but 20 minutes later AC failure was displayed on the console. I assisted the installer in tracing the failure to a burnt power brick. The unit was considerably hot and could have caused a fire. The installer checked all power leads and verified the board was properly cased in the panel. On further examination, there was a loose 1/2 inch solder lead found under three components. This leads was snipped during construction and was causing a short between several components. This led to a short in the external power brick which overloaded the unit. The enclosed power brick had no thermal fuse and continued to short until the unit literally burned up. Upon removing the solder lead and replacing the brick the unit continued working correctly. I have not observed any issues since that time. I personally contacted Honeywell Customer support and they completely ignored my information. I was told that any issues with the unit were in the hands of the installer and dealer. They wash their hands of any responsibility if the unit burns down your house due to manufacture defects. I would use this product at your own risk, and keep a smoke detector nearby.
