The system works just as advertised. Everything came properly packaged and worked first time.

Once I reviewed many You Tube videos I was able to do the setup. I still do not know how to connect a panic switch.

If you are not familiar w/ programming alarm systems this may not be for you.

This was easy to set up for fire and security. It replaced an older panel that was just being used for security and was not communicating with a central station..Connected the existing security zones and changed the end of line resistors. I added two wire smoke detectors and then connected it to a central station. It works really good and we are very pleased. I added a siren driver and speakers for the audible alarm. I also used the 6160RF keypad just in case in the future we would want to add some wireless devices. We used a regular 6160 keypad for the timed entry-exit door. We did not try the voice feature as my wife didnt want it activated. This is a good cost effective fire-security panel for most homes or a small business.

I purchased a house with an old security system (2007 era, big name company, you can probably guess which one) installed. I wanted a self monitoring option, and didnt want to purchase new sensors. With almost no security system experience I was able to use the manual that comes with this to replace the existing control panel. Saved me hundreds in installation costs for a new system and it works perfectly with my existing sensors. I bought the Honeywell 6160 keypad to program it and an Ademco Wave2 siren for noise. Excellent value and user friendly if you have the patience to read the manual carefully.

Broken seal, missing parts, box looked used, finger prints on cover and missing transformer.

I bought this item and installed it myself. Install is easy but takes a little time and careful documentation prior to deinstall of the old unit. Reprogammed over the phone with my alarm company. No issues.
