> 3 dayUsed this as a replacement for an existing failed Moose system originally installed in 1986. I am very happy with its functions so far. It has some nice features when used with key pads #6150rf & 6160. If this system lasts as long as the Moose system did I will be very happy. This system should be installed by a professional. Its a bit technical for the do it yourselfer.

> 3 dayInstall in all rentals as feature for tenants. The one piece of advice I’d give is to test it ASAP because I did have one board that had a bad sensor port. I had empty ports so it wasn’t a big deal, so I didn’t bother to exchange. There are great videos on line that show how to program. Setup isn’t as easy as ring or simpli but the end product is much much better and at a much lower cost.

> 3 dayI just received the panel today. Looks new original packaging from DYMS at firmware version 9.18 (printed on the box). I will see if I can upload a photo. Once I get it installed I will update this review and star rating. The version was important to me because I want to use the 6162, May others have ordered the VISTA-20s and got what I call (returns) with lower firmware. More to come

> 3 dayThis panel is a great starter panel. Make sure you buy the alpha keypad if you plan on programing it yourself. Do your homework.

> 3 dayI highly recommend against this product. The customer support at honeywell will not help you at all unless you are one of their dealers. They market these as DIY, but if you have technical problems they want you to hire one of their dealers to troubleshoot the issue. They will not give you any technical information over the phone, even if you can prove that the system is yours.
