Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

Really well built compared to most of the cheapo alarm components out there. The horn inside is metal and the plastic is not flimsy, like supported ABS. Bottom line, I have no clue how they can sell this so cheap, but its a $50 horn, easy. You can hook it up two ways inside, single continuous tone, or a warble. Both are loud. Ordering another one to attach in parallel...

Product had everything needed. It was super simple to install and it did not require shutting off the power to the buildings fire alarm system. A simple and easy upgrade which took the existing dated yellow/beige plate and gave it a clean sleek new look.

Had an adt system and the speaker picked up a local radio station. Replaced the adt Honeywell system speaker with this one and it worked. Very easy to install.

Works completely as advertised - BUT when you power one input, the 12V signal goes out the other input. If this is a problem, it can be fixed with a diode at each input, anode to your driving circuit, cathode to the input. Diode needs to be rated for your voltage and at least 1/2 amp. I used a 1N4007 because I had them on hand.
