Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

Works great with my Vista 20p control panel. I bought this along with the 20p and a Honeywell 6160 keypad for programming. The siren has two settings, one for a constant tone and one for a warble tone. Both are extremely loud and if it doesnt scare a burglar off, it will at least deafen them for life.

This unit isnt all that loud. In a closet with the door shut, you can tell its going off but its not exactly intimidating.

This is a very loud alarm sounder. Police departments these days have a glacially slow response time. By the time they get there your stuff will be gone. By adding a siren or two to you system you will tell the intruders they have been detected, hopefully scarring them away. When the police DO finely show up they can close the door.

This is a pretty loud siren. My only complaint is that you cant flush mount it. If there is a way, I do not know how.

If you want to wake your household, accidentally trip the alarm when stepping outside to check on the sprinkler system before anyone else is awake... but if you prefer to not rudely awaken your household, turn the alarm off first! Easy install with a Vista 20p and loud enough that we make sure to not accidentally set the alarm off.
