I did not like that the solution came out from the sides. It had a tendency to just roll down the sides of what you were cleaning. Also, since most sofas have Scotch Guard it was difficult to get the water to clean.

I first had hired someone to clean my carpet and they told me that some stains can not come out so I was about to remove the whole entire carpet but then after a long while. I bough this machine, I gave it a try and I was happy to see the results. No more stains in my carpet.

I absolutely love this for cleaning up after pets or kids. On carpet, furniture, mattresses, and even for the vehicle. The only downside is it is uncomfortable on hands after long term use, the grip area could be softer or cushioned.

This product worked like a charm when cleaning spots on my carpet. I have to say you don’t need much, I suggest you fill 1/4 and not use a full tank because I had so much left after cleaning 10 spots.

It did a great job cleaning stains on my carpeted stairs that I had not been able to remove with other machines. It actually made the 34 year old carpet look like new. It was easy to use and I bought it specifically for the stairs. It is also very easy to clean after use. It is lightweight enough to carry around the house for spot cleaning as well. I highly recommend this.

Overall I am pleased with my Hoover carpet cleaner. It is easy to use and has worked well at removing the stains on my rug. If they are old set in stains it might be different. The suctioning up of the solution also works well

Update: I watched some videos and read the manual and we had to prime the water pump. It took about 10-15 minutes of continuously troubleshooting it for it to start spraying again. I was disappointed that we had to do that with how little we have used the machine. I also think the suction on it has decreased and does not run as well as when first purchased. In total we have used about 6 times now on a large sectional couch. Its a nice tool to have handy and I havent used any other tool similar to this so I really dont have a basis for comparisons with other brands & their quality. First review: I am so frustrated. I purchased this product and used it about 1 time per month on our couch. It has only been used 5 times and it is already broken, and the sellers website says no refunds after 6 months. I paid $150 for this and the water system (sprayer) is not spraying at all, and then the system itself is not cycling water even if I spray with a separate spray bottle. Worked great for the first few times, and now it just stopped working. Zero help for refunds.
