> 3 dayThis product does not fit the Curt #58140 7 pole trailer plug. The blades on this Hopkins adapter are too wide. Theyre wider than the blades on my 7 pole Chrysler wiring harness on my Dodge Magnum. Guessing this is a little gotcha thing where you need to have Hopkins adapters on both sides, car and trailer. The Curt #58140 7 pole trailer plug fits my Dodge Magnum with factory Chryslter 7 pole wiring kit fine. Update: After tweaking the blades with a screw driver and also tweaking the slots with a box opener the two pieces now fit together. Seems to me this is a quality consistency issue with the Hopkins harness as two of the blades were apparently too close together.

> 3 dayAfter searching for a 7 pin adapter for my 1999 Tahoe, I purchased this 4 pin flat connector wiring kit with Hopkins 41125 LiteMate Vehicle to Trailer Wiring Kit. It was straight plug and play for my truck. I will note that you need to buy self tapping screws, as they were not included in the hardware.

Greater than one weekI installed a tow package on my Dodge Grand Caravan and needed the ability to connect a 7 round RV plug to my vehicle when towing my pop-up camper. This Hopkins 47185 Multi-Tow adapter was perfect for me because it allows you to easily have both the 7 round and 4 flat connections easily accessible. Everything necessary for the installation was included, and it took almost no time at all for me to install this device on my vehicle. I have used it multiple times since installing, and it has worked flawlessly. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayThis adapter gives you a flexible solution to the 4 pin vs.7 pin trailer connection. It has BOTH connectors in one unit and the mount accommodates both of them. I have a small utility trailer that has the 4 pin connection, and a travel trailer that has the 7 pin connector. This make it simple to hook up either trailer.

> 3 dayThis connector is the right one if you all ready have a trailer light connection. You only need to plug in your lights and run your wires for your brakes and 12v for camper . It has the optional wire for backup lights as well .It comes with a good bumper bracket and the necessary bolts , nuts and washers to get the job done . Once installed you have a connector for your boat or utility trailer or a plug for your camper or heavy pull trailer built into the same connection .

Greater than one weekThe Hopkins Multi-tow adapter was perfect for my inventory of trailers. The kit comes with a bracket, mounting screws and the adapter with instructions. Adapter is made in Mexico. The 4 wire plug-in is hooded to keep debris out when you plug into your vehicles existing OEM 4 wire trailer adapter. My purchase was to replace an existing Hopkins adapter on a used vehicle, so I got a good idea how durable it was after being hit, bent and hit again. I gave it 5 stars because it is that good and Amazons price cant be beat. My only wish would be they make a thicker bracket because the constant stress of plugging in and unplugging bends the bracket. I saw this weakness on the previous Hopkins adapter, so I made my own bracket out of 3/16ths steel for this installation.

> 3 dayIf you need a 7 wire and 4 wire all in one, this will do the job. Been working fine in saltwater environment.

> 3 dayI returned it. It was delivered to late to use. I bought one in time from Autozone for the same price when I needed to install it.

> 3 dayUsed this to wire up a Tekonsha brake controller, etc to a 2008 Toyota Sienna. Nothing particularly exciting to note here, its exactly as pictured and described. After spending some heavy cash on a kit from a particular online trailer place for my last tow kit, I found it cheaper and less wasteful to order the parts separately.
