> 3 dayYou wont go wrong with this oil. Its perfect for new wood and old neglected wood. My wife and I used this on an 80 year old butcher block we bought at a garage sale. (We dated the butcher block by looking at the local history and when the deli that was stamped on the side of the block went out of business) The butcher block was well used and in good shape but the wood was dry. We coated the entire piece including the bottom and the legs and we used several bottles. The wook absorbed this oil quickly and it never left an oily or slimy feeling behind. It also helped to give the wood a healthy look to the oxidation. It also smoothed out the top as the grain swelled to fill the cuts in the top and the end grain expanded slightly. We use the butcher block as an end table now and we have never had an issue with water rings from glasses and we have no worry about what we set on top of the block. This oil really helps protect the wood as well as restoring the natural moisture. Pros: It helps preserve the wood and expand the grains for a smoother feel Its easily absorbed into the wood. It doesnt have a foul smell or impart any taste to foods Cons: The wood will really absorb this oil You may need a lot of it for new and untreated wood or neglected wood.

> 3 daySo far this oil has worked wonders of my new wood countertop from ikea. Before using this oil on my countertop anytime the counter would get wet it sucked it up like a sponge and left ugly water makes that would take days to go away. So through my research i found this product and have now put it on the counters four times now and i can already notice a huge difference. The oil brought the color and grain out of the wood just like polyurethane does. in the picture the shelf that my monitor is sitting on is the same wood as the counter but with no oil so that you can see the difference. The wood looks healthy and moisturized and now when it gets wet the water doesnt seep into the wood but instead beads up and sits on the top to make it easy to clean off. i plan to continue using this product over the years to maintain my counters and would recommend it to anyone with wood countertops.

> 3 dayWorked great. We got a new sink for our kitchen and it came with an inset cutting board. This thing looks like it hadnt seen any kind of oil in the finishing process at all. It was bone dry. I lost count of how many coats of oil it took, but it had to be 8 or so before it started to really look and feel like a usable cutting board. Ill have to do a regular routine of re-oiling until it hits some kind of stasis, but for now I have about half a bottle left, so Im good for a while. I touched up some wooden utensils while I was at it, and those took almost no oil, so this bottle should last a while for most folks. I was very uneasy initially about where to find the mineral oil I kept hearing I should use on wood because there seems to be more than one type of oil categorized as mineral oil and it wasnt clear to me if it was all food safe. I relied a lot on reviews to decide what to buy and have been very happy with my choice.

> 3 dayHigh quality product. A little goes a long way. I engrave cutting boards and then fill the engravings with resin, sand the boards, and then treat them with this oil and they always turn out beautiful!

> 3 dayI didnt know cutting board oil was actually a thing until I saw this. LOL It revived one of my old cutting boards to its original condition with a couple of coats and now I also use it on my other boards and wood utensils. Im going to try it on an old end table and see how that works. Definitely recommend.

Greater than one weekA cutting board can dry out and also harbor bacteria. Cleaning a cutting board and then applying cutting board oil can prolong the life of your board. It also improves the looks of the board. This product meets all the requirements needed to make your cutting board look, feel and perform at its best. Highly recommended.
