> 3 dayBought another “food grade” mineral oil for my boards but turned out not to be food grade at all. Just a heads up for anyone looking for a product of this type. This one I LOVED!!!

Greater than one weekI got this product because my wife and bought for me a beautiful cutting board made of different types of wood. We have other items that I have oiled with olive oil. I wanted this oil because of its ultimate safety in using. While it darkens the wood, it is much less than olive oil. Used on my new cutting board and one made special for me by my neighbor, a bread cutting item my neighbor made with thin wood slats in a wood tray that catches crumbs below where you cut, custom made wooden spoons and spatulas. Most of this had never been oiled so the first coat was sucked right up. Even after second coat I let items sit to dry and hardly any oil was left on surface.

> 3 dayWorks wonderful on restoring the natural beauty to the wood of our cutting boards and charcuterie boards. I use it up pretty quickly to wish the price was a little better. Great food grade product!

> 3 dayVery effective at bringing a cutting board back to life. Restored the color and surface feel to my Oak Apple cutting boards. 2 coats seamed to be enough for my boards. You can see the difference between a single coat and second coat to a dry board. The third coat on my boards mode no noticeable change on mine and did not soak in as well. Shipped sealed under the cap with no leakage... once open it seams to always have a bit of oil around the top no matter how many times I washed it. I put my bottle in the back corner of the cutting board shelf to keep it out of the way and upright.

> 3 dayI put on an unfinished wood top of a kitchen island that looks like butcher block as other purchasers suggested. It’s food grade so that’s the primary consideration for me. It does have an odor and is fairly greasy feeling so I’m throwing the cloths away I used to apply it rather than try to clean them
