Bought this a few months ago after my laptop died. It has great specs and runs really well! Only drawback is the harddrive is tiny. I use OneDrive for everything (with free up space used, so nothing is on the harddrive) and only have 30gb of space left, which isnt great for longevity of the drive. I am strongly considering buying a bigger drive to put in it, although not sure if that will void the warranty. And I really wish it had a backlit keyboard. But other than that, this laptop was a steal for the price I got, shipped in 1 day to my house, and completely saved my life because I need a laptop for work & school pretty much 24/7. It also handles games pretty well at medium settings (can only have 1-2 installed at a time; currently have one 15gb game installed and am left with 16gb storage remaining). I dont use the touchscreen a whole lot, but that works really well too. Very precise. I will update this again whenever the laptop stops working, I get a new one, I update the laptop in any way, etc. to report on how it holds up over time. As of right now, Im still happy with the purchase.

I’m a Apple laptop user but do to a new job working from home had to buy a windows base comp and this was definitely a great option! Having the touch screen is so helpful and it perfect for my job. Also very happy that even when I had to pay additional for fast delivery (understanding everything going on with COVID19 )and was promised to received the product by a Monday these laptops (I bought 2) arrived 3 days prior, Friday morning just in time to start my training. Perfect timing!

Ive had this laptop for almost 4 months and am already in the market for a new one. I am furious with the complexity of trying to contact HP Support. I still cannot figure out how to speak with a real human being (and am seriously doubting it would matter anyway). I am a college student and business owner. I NEED a reliable laptop, which this is NOT. This is actually my second attempt at writing a review because, per usual, my laptop screen decided to randomly go out on me (back light still active), forcing me to restart my laptop. After spending almost $500, unable to contact the product makers for support, and now needing to spend another $500 or more purchasing a new laptop, vs risking keeping this one and having the screen go out on me during a test or exam where I am afforded only ONE attempt, I am left angry and helpless. I will NOT be purchasing another HP laptop, that is for sure. I will say this, if you dont NEED a reliable laptop, and its more for just personal use, this really isnt a bad laptop. Mine just has a technical issue I cannot afford the risk to continue going through. Maybe youll get lucky and receive a properly functioning laptop. If you purchase this one, I sincerely hope you do.

Everything seems to work fine but this laptop is not a touchscreen which is the main reason I upgraded. Seeing on other reviews that the touchscreen works great so wondering if they just sent me the wrong model?

This laptop has been the cause of constant headaches ever since purchasing it. Only needed it for basic web browsing and schoolwork - nothing crazy. After only 3-4 months I started experiencing issues, the system fan would run abnormally loud sometimes. Shortly after, the fan failed completely and the laptop wouldnt start at all. What made it all worse is HPs awful customer service. After hours of chatting with customer support (impossible to get anyone on the phone) one of their reps reluctantly allowed the laptop to be sent in for repair, only after trying his hardest to push the extended warranty on to me. The repair box was sent to my house and was supposed to include a prepaid return label, which they forgot to include. After another few hours with customer service, they told me the label would be emailed to me within 24 hours, I could print it out and use that. No big deal. It took them a WEEK to simply email the label. Finally it was sent, the laptop was repaired and of course there were delays in the repair process. When I finally received the laptop back, I opened the box and they forgot to send me my charger back with it. I wasnt even surprised at this point. AVOID THIS PRODUCT AND HORRIBLE COMPANY, SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES

The laptop was what I expected.....It has a fairly sturdy design and is nice and quick for basic stuff. However the battery life is bad 5-6hrs surfing the web on lowest brightness setting...but except for that its fine.
