> 3 dayI bought this computer in October and within months had a fan issue. The computer shuts down while being used, which is a problem because I purchased it for my daughter for distance learning. This issue started right before the warranty expired. I purchased the computer on Oct. 19 and the warranty expired April 13, less than 6 months from purchase. I have spent hours and hours trying to get this fixed, but still have no resolution. I am very disappointed that the hardware broke down so quickly, but even worse was the customer service from HP trying to resolve the issue. I will never buy an HP again.

> 3 dayThe build quality is kinda cheap for $320. But the the thing has plenty of power. Youll need to add a second stick of ram to enable dual channel memory (which boosts your framerate a lot). Linux works very well on it. Im running Kubuntu 19.04.

> 3 dayBought this for the wife, with the intention of upgrading it. Not a whole lot of information about this model on the internet, but I was curious myself to try out the new Ryzens and Vega chips. It’s does just about everything a normal person would want a computer to do. Getting it out of S mode is literally a flick of a switch. Comes loaded with the normal crapware you expect from an off the shelf computer. It DOES have an unoccupied RAM slot, which I filled with an 8gig stick. What’s curious, is it looks like there’s an empty 2.5 inch bay, which I was going to fill with an SSD, however it doesn’t have SATA cabling or connectors to hook it up. For reference, to get to the main board, you’re going to have to peel off the sticky feet on the underside of the body.

> 3 dayThis laptop could be better. It has Windows 10S. I was uninformed and did not know what the S meant. The computer comes in S-mode. The S gives the laptop extra security, but that means it will not support everything you may want to do. I needed to do Zoom. This computer as is will not let you go to Zoom.us. It is also not particularly fast. The buttons need more pressure than I am used to.

> 3 dayI had and used this computer for almost a week. It does works great and very nice to type on as I am a touch typist (meaning I don’t need to look at the keys as I use the keyboard). The keys are nicely spaced apart even if it is just a 14 inches screen sized computer. I did not miss the other larger sized models as this is just fine for the type of activities I like to indulge in with a personal computer or other electronic devices.

> 3 dayWhile very solid in most ways, this computer has very display quality. Despite changing all of the settings, it often appears greyed out. It is difficult to read the text on some pages as a result.

> 3 dayit worked decently at first but didnt take long for it to go down the drain, it has a huge issue with ghost touches that makes the computer near-unusable. dont waste your money on this one
