> 3 dayThis is a great monitor for a home computer doing general tasks. Not too big and not too small.

> 3 dayHonestly the only reason im writing this review is to share how helpful the helpline was at well.... helping. Had this guy as a secondary display for about 2-3 weeks and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately today as i turned it on, the screen remained black and buttons stopped working. I switched the display type from HDMI to display port and it still didnt work. I updated my driver, and did about everything possible to trouble shoot it but it was simply unresponsive. After reaching out to the helpline, they immediately thought of other ways to trouble shoot it and even set up a video chat so they could visibly see the issue. After a few more attempts there was no luck, and the display was simply bricked. The part i appreciate is that the dude was not only very very helpful and chill, but they are sending me a new monitor immediately. That whole process, plus the fact that it does exactly what is expected when working is why i gave 5 stars.

> 3 dayIm very happy with this monitor. I was able to try it out at a former employers office. At home, I had a larger monitor and unfortunately, larger isnt always better. I like this size of this display. My monitor is only about 24 away from my face and I have decent vision with diminishing reading vision. Looking at a larger monitor was more than annoying, it just wasnt good to use and it made me not want to use my home computer. Using this monitor at 1920 x 1080 (recommended for this screen), and having the magnification set to 100% (Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display = smaller) is great! I dont do gaming and I havent used the internal speakers. Cant rate those. I sometimes change the color settings to help minimize the impact on viewing screens late at night (Warm, Neutral, Cool, Low Blue Light, Night, Reading, HP Enhance +, or Custom RGB). This is helpful. I am able to tilt the screen down and up with ease. And the rotate to portrait is great (raise display to highest settings and tilt back to clear the desk), but my old laptop cant change the settings to view in portrait. I recommend this monitor. Its great that it can also go on a stand that holds double screens. And with the very thin left and right frame sides, it would be a great monitor to use 2 or 3 side-by-side.

Greater than one weekI want a standalone monitor that is at least 4 inches larger than my laptop screen. The way this one is made, or many it seems, I either had to put the monitor to the side, which is uncomfortable since I spend 8-12 hours a day at my laptop, or put it behind my laptop screen, in which case the laptop screen blocks a few inches of the bottom of the standalone monitor. The stand for the monitor connects to low to the back of it to allow it to stradle my laptop screen. I will have to keep looking.

> 3 dayI bought one of these and connected it to my laptop running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. It worked very well until a vertical streak appeared on the screen (it was till usable but not very aesthetic). It was covered under warranty, and they shipped a box to put it in for shipping, and I didnt have to pay anything for repair or shipping, but of course there was time involved in dealing with HP Support, packing the monitor, etc. I assume the problem was a fluke, and I bought another one for my Windows 10 laptop. So far so good, as long as the 2nd monitor doesnt develop a problem. These monitors are the perfect size for my desk, and they make my job as a software consultant much easier.
