> 3 dayLets start with the pros! -The size is good, I think it looks pretty, its clear, has decently good speakers, can be turnt sideways, and is decent for gaming. I bought this primarily as a budget gaming monitor and to use it while Im streaming games on Twitch. -Not too expensive -Nice looking stand Cons -Whenever I play any dark game like Skyrim, or see a dark loading screen from a game, I unfortunately see yellow bleeding on the sides. Its been there since Day 1. I most likely will exchange it for a new one if I can find a solution for my second issue. I really needed a monitor for streaming, so I dont have time to go days without a monitor again. This monitor does have a warranty, so Ill have to contact HP at some point if it really starts to bug me while playing games like Skyrim. -I cannot connect my Nintendo Wii. Ive tried contacting HP support but no one knows the answer so far and I get an error every time I plug in my Wii saying that I need to change the mode when there is no option to change the mode. I was really looking forward to streaming switch and Wii games but I havent found a solution for the Wii games yet although Switch games are fine... if I dont, I may have to get a BENQ or some other type of gaming monitor that is more compatible with different gaming systems. **EDIT: I had to change my Wii settings from 480i to 480p and it works now! & Now I have two monitors and put them on a VESA dual mount! Besides that, its great! The height adjustment is AMAZING, I LOVE that it has speakers, and it has the ports that I need! Another HDMI would be nice, but its okay. Main problems were just the bleeding and not being able to connect my Wii. If I find a solution for my Wii Ill update this review! -@LeSweetpea on Twitch, IG, and YouTube

> 3 dayJust got the HP 24mh yesterday, but it has impressed me so much I had to give a review now, but will edit if I run into any problems later. Very nice picture quality, and there are a lot of adjustments that can be made to make it more to your liking. The stand is awesome, best monitor stand Ive ever had. My last two monitors have been Asus, and was planning on getting another Asus, but I seen so many people saying how much they liked this HP, thought Id give it a try. My last monitor was a Asus vs239h-P 23 60mhz., which was a fine monitor and served me well, but was wanting something a little bigger with a 75mhz. refresh rate, and with a Displayport connector. I like the picture quality better on the HP 24mh than the Asus vs239h-P. I dont game much, but I tried a few gams, and it looked good to me, but Im sure a serious gamer would want something with higher refresh rates. They have a driver you can download for the HP 24mh at HPs website. Highly recommended! update: This is really an amazing monitor. If I get the settings just right and have a great source I can see images with this like Ive never seen before. Its that good! My past two Asus monitors were great for reliability, one I used for 4 years, and the one before that Ive had for 10 years, and still use it as a backup. Just hope the HP 24mh is this reliable. update: The built in speakers do a good job, not good for listening to music, but I never use a monitors built in speakers. Update 2-8-2023: Still a great monitor, and very glad I purchased it. For a great 1080p monitor look no further.

Greater than one weekI had this monitor set up for about two weeks when it developed a darker/gray area in the lower left corner of the screen. It was just noticeably darker than the rest of the screen no matter what I did to the brightness. Unfortunately Id dragged my feet setting it up, so the return window had just expired and Amazon directed me to HP since it was under warranty, but assured me they would provide a refund if HP couldnt solve the problem. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with HP trouble shooting. Seemed to resolve the dark area, but in the process, managed to create a much bigger problem. The monitor would just black out entirely after 5-7 minutes regardless of whether I was using it or not. Whatever I had open on that screen would just get stuck there - it wouldnt come back to my laptop or my other external monitor unless I disconnected it. Went through the reset steps 3-4 times and got it back online, but was really frustrated. The fifth time, the monitor blacked out and wouldnt come back on at all except in super brief flashes when I unplugged and replugged the HDMI cable. 30 more minutes on the phone with HP - I have to send it back to them and hopefully will get a replacement in 2-3 weeks (4-6 business days after they receive the original monitor from me). I thought this would be a nice upgrade to get me a full dual monitor set-up alongside a very basic Acer monitor. Id by far recommend an Acer over this.

> 3 dayIm not a try hard, but I do appreciate the graphics on this monitor as opposed to what i had before. If your a competitive gamer maybe I wouldnt get this, but if your a regular gamer and laptop user then youll like it!

14-04-2025This monitor had everything I was looking for. Nice size screen, adjustable height / tilt and built in speakers. For 7 months it worked like a charm. Last week I moved it about 6 inches to clean and when I moved it back I noticed a black spot and horizontal lines. No worries, I had a 1 year warranty with HP. I talked to 5 different persons at HP before I was told by Suresh that for $105 they would send me a new monitor. Luckily I had purchased a 4 year extended warranty through Asurion for $29.99. They were great. All I had to do was return the monitor (UPS label provided) and I would receive a $125 gift card. I just purchased this monitor again (price up $25) and I will also purchase another extended warranty. Lets recap, I had 2 warranties on a monitor that I paid $125 for and for another $55 I am back to where I was a week ago. HP should be ashamed of themselves. Their customer service and warranty are a joke.

> 3 dayThis HP 24mh monitor has a clear, crisp display and is the perfect size for desktop use (not too big, not too small). It accepts both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs (and even VGA for old school PCs). While Windows will select 60Hz refresh rate by default, you can go into Windows display settings and select 75Hz refresh rate for this monitor. The 75Hz refresh rate really does help smooth out motion. You should also go into the monitors Image menu setting and set Response Time to Level 3 which provides the best VSYNC performance. One of the best features that places this monitor above and beyond its price range is the 90-degree rotating screen, height adjustment, and swiveling base. The stand is rock-solid without any wobble. The speakers are just fine once you discover the menu control I explain below: HOW TO FIX LOW VOLUME SOUND: The built-in speakers are better than some reviewers indicate. I believe most people dont discover that the monitor menu has its own volume control thats set to 50% volume by factory default. If you just connect this monitor to the PC youll automatically get sound through the HP speakers via HDMI or DisplayPort (you only have to use the separate audio cable when using the VGA input). But no matter how high you turn up your PC volume control, youll only get 50% volume from the monitors speakers which is why people complain about low volume. To fix this, all you need to do is go to the Management tab of the monitor menu, select Audio, and then turn up the volume control from 50 (default) to 100 and youll find the monitor speakers are plenty loud. After that, youll only have to use your PC volume control as normal. This is a great quality monitor with features beyond its price range. Fantastic value, HP! ADDITIONAL NOTE: HP sells an identical monitor to the HP 24mh under the model P24h. The only difference is that the P24h has a black plastic logo strip along the bottom instead of silver like the 24mh. Everything else is identical (specs, speakers, height adjustable stand, etc.) plus the P24h comes with both an HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable.

> 3 dayGreat for work - spreadsheets, email, data entry, document editing, facilitating webinars and online meetings (no camera - I use as a second screen with my laptop), etc! Lightweight and sleek appearance. Screen is super big and clear picture. I like that the screen can move up or down. Great monitor for the price, highly recommend. Speakers are okay - not the greatest but I mostly use with headphones anyway. I can’t imagine spending $150+ for a “good” monitor, this is perfect for me!!
