> 3 dayI want to get one thing out of the way and it is the horrible screen this chromebook has. Their HD SVA screen they advertise is so not what they claim it is.. I’m not even sure if its truly an HP product because I seriously couldn’t get a decent viewing angle from the screen whatsoever. Unless it was perfectly centered without moving in the slightest, or if it was tilted all the way back good luck trying to comfortably watch anything with its washed out colors and horrible viewing angles. I really tried to like the chromebook for what it had, the speakers were great, backlit keyboard for something in the mid $200 range? Cool! But please HP, work on the screen. If you are considering getting this, I’d say look for something better for 100-200 more.

09-06-2025We bought this little gem in July, by August 20 or so it had stopped turning on. This isnt our first Hp or other laptop--like most Americans we have several, but this is the most AWFUL, the most WORTHLESS, the most FRUSTRATING laptop we have ever bought.

> 3 dayI am SHOCKED at how well this Chromebook performs - given its price. I personally use Google Docs and no specific software necessary for a traditional laptop. This has to be my favorite laptop ever. Its so light, stylish and does everything I need.

> 3 dayWhile this laptop is nice looking, it is terrible. It will not install a printer or Gamehouse games.

Greater than one weekAt just under $300 with tax, this still seems like a great deal. The screen is awesome: 14.0-inch diagonally, with full high definition (1920 x 1080). It uses IPS BrightView micro-edge WLED-backlit technology. The IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology is used in many smartphones. IPS is typically more expensive, but produces a much higher display quality, with better colors and a much wider viewing angle. This IPS display looks great. It is so so so much better than the older Chromebook it replaces. Battery and speed are good, and the time until Google stops supporting the software is June of 2026, which is great. Google chromebook support life if you didnt know that Chromebooks arent supported forever. The speakers point upward, and are noticeably better than Im used to. Everyone has a different budget and objectives, but found what I wanted: awesome picture; loud and very good sound quality; good battery and processor speed. I was not disappointed.
