> 24 hourIs it the best salt out there, no. Is it the best salt out there in this price range, heck yes. I have used instant ocean sea salt since 2010 and it has not let me down. Always mix your salt water separate from your tank test it before you do a water change. It’s that easy. This product will deliver the right salt and mineral quantities every time.

> 24 hourInstant Ocean Sea Salt is my go-to aquarium marine salt for my brackish opae`ula (red Hawaiian volcano shrimp) tank, brine shrimp cultures and marine algal cultures. Ive never had a single issue with this salt. Its perfectly formulated and it has a lower total heavy metal percentage than most other aquarium marine salts on the market, including Reef Crystals (though all are safe when used as directed). It mixes very quickly, no CO2 injection required just an airstone or a filter agitating the water. If youre in the market for a low-cost, high-quality aquarium marine salt then Instant Ocean is a fantastic choice.

> 24 hourLove instant ocean and this size package! Great for using it for my Hermit Crab saltwater dishes and I only use a little so this pack will last awhile. Would definitely recommend this size over the 15lb bag if youre using it for something other than an aquarium. Hermits and I love it!

> 24 hourI have been a reef keeper for over twenty years. I have tried virtually every salt, and this is still probably the most cost effective and consistent salt options around. It will leave residue in a mixing station, but that never seems to impact fish or corals. It just means if you use a mixing station you will probably have to clean it out every so often.
