My old Dell desk top with XP was just too slow to be useful. It was just too frustrating to use so I bought a new lap top. I have so much files and music on my desk top and really I was ready to take it to Staples to fix it AGAIN...but I saw this program. I figured better than spending about $200 to fix it. Best thing I did for my desk top computer for the cost...I did a total clean up and wow was I surprised how well my computer worked. I would say my PC is not perfect and I have to clean it up every few days, along with my virus scan but it was way worth the price. I can use it again on a regular basis. Just run the System Mechanic Total Care at night and Norton Scan and its good to go. One thing is you have to run it as the administrator if you have that on your system. Its not hard to learn. My computer was so sluggish that it seem to take forever for my pages to load. Some would time out cause it took so long. But since day one of installing iolo on my computer, I was amazed how much faster everything I needed or wanted to do was! It cleaned out all the junk that was slowing my computer down and it was so easy to install and use!Best decision I have made!!!

Ive used this product on and off for years. Now, day after day, multiple times, it brings up (on your home screen) upgrade offers, extend your subscription, etc. I had six months left on my subscription, canceled this annoying spam. Ive had customers who installed it, refunded their money out of my own pocket and removed this software.

It seems to be dong its job well. I will renew when it comes due.

This software has salvaged my desktop and my daughters laptop from the rubbish pile. You can either reinstall an OS, a painful process, or you can run all the tools in System Mechanic a restore a computer to good health. My daughters laptop took 15 minutes to boot up before running System mechanic. afterwards it booted in minutes and I no longer hear her complaining that it forgets it is a computer.
