First time user, I put extra amounts of both until they puddled and left for 2 days and then applied wax and again generously and the seal is amazing

Great stuff! I wish i did a before and after to share. That foam pad really does its job well and saves on oil by not absorbing the oil itself.

My walnut Jones Cutting Boards didnt soak in much oil. It took around two weeks to absorb two coats on top and bottom.

We received this set of board oil and board cream and were less than pleased. We opted to return the defective items and allow the seller to make good and send us a replacement. The replacement set was worse than the first set. The first set the board oil looked perfect and the board cream was very brown in color rather than the yellow it should be. After doing some research on the manufacturers website we decided to return the set as they indicated the cream was bad and should not be used. We Returned the defective set and received the replacement set the following day. We were very excited as we are wanting to prepare our Boos Block cutting board for use. We opened the package and were immediately disappointed. The board oil is not the correct color or consistency... and the board cream is an even darker Brown than the one before. We are very sad and disappointed this product did not work out. I am guessing amazon just has too many in stock and they are going bad. However, we will not be ordering this particular product through amazon again and will be going through a different seller.
